She's hurt, she's using me, and I can forgive her, she's human too, everybody goes through dark times, I can't ask for any more of her than she's already giving, but as much as I understand, I still get hurt.
She'll Skype me for 30 minutes a day because she's bored or she's upset, she'll hang up out of the blue, I get worried, she'll get annoyed or ignore me when I try to see if she's okay.
I've tried to leave the friendship, but she got upset, and I feel like everything I do with her is the wrong thing. Staying annoys her, leaving annoys her, not checking up annoys her, checking up annoys her.
Is it better to pass it off as a depression thing, or to try to talk it out? I'm being dragged down with her more every time we talk, and if the boy who's supposed to be supporting her gets upset 24/7 too, she'll be doomed, but I don't want to add to her plate of life struggles, you get? |

You can either leave the friendship, tolerate her behavior, or do something better. She has a problem. You need to come right out and ask her what's wrong. Probably no one else has. If she won't tell you, you can let it go, or tell her that you can no longer answer her random calls, especially if she will hang up abruptly.

I know why she's upset, for the past few weeks she's been upset about a cutie patootie boy, last week she finally got him, but she's still worried that he'll never love her back. I try my best to support her, but she hangs up and the next day she's sad about the same issue, I feel like I'm letting her down more than anything else, and she's my best friend, that feeling hurts the most. |

Just take everything with a grain of salt.
Just wait until it blows over.
Always worked for me |

We need to resolve one thing right now:
You are NOT letting her down. Get those kinds of thoughts out of your head. It sounds more like she won't let anyone pick her up.
Also, it sounds like her relationship (or maybe a more apt word is obsession) with this "cutie patootie boy" is hurtful. She's worried that he won't love her. Do you know him? Have you talked to him? If you haven't, you should. If you have, what's your opinion? Do you think he loves her or not?

I know he loves her, and I know him, he's a nice person, he's popular and he hasn't let it make him silly, AND PLUS HE DOES THAT FACE FLYNN DOES TO RAPUNZEL WHEN SHE'S NOT LOOKING WHEN MY FRIEND'S NOT LOOKING BUT SHE STILL DOESN'T BELIEVE ME ON THAT LIKE OMG. AND HE CALLED HER BEAUTIFUL AND FUNNY AND LOVELY AND CUTE TO HIS FRIENDS BUT SHE'S A BIT IFFY ON THAT TOO OMG
I'm worried because a bit before he dated her he 'liked' her best friend, and when her best friend's around apparently he focuses more on her, I just hope he isn't using her to get to her. He had a piece of paper with her number on it, but apparently he lost it and broke his phone which he only had for one day before that, and it seems a bit fishy.
But other than that, if I was a dad from Texas, I probably wouldn't shoot him. |

@Eagle
I kinda feel bad for her too. If he killed her he'd get arrested. I bet you're probably a ten year old scrub. |

Well, it sounds like she's just extremely paranoid. Not sure how to help with that.
