The middle school in my city was just on the news (I go to the highschool)
Two special education children I know there (in the grade below me- 8th grade, I'm in 9th) just won Homecoming Prince & Princess. Everyone there voted for them. Good for them :D
Hey, I didn't think anyone would band together like that to make someone's day, but those two were so unhappy it was unreal. They even got an interview and everything :o |

Ikr
Teachers got interviewed and stuff too, they were crying
I knew literally everyone in all the camera shots
It was pretty sweet of everyone to do that. They're really accepting of the special needs kids, which is great. |

@tru
The girl had autism, and the boy has ADHD or something. He's kinda goofy, but a cool kid |

| Wow. I used to supposedly have ADHD, but after going organic and non-GMO, my problems disappeared. |

The fact that they did that is stupid. I wouldn't want anyone to treat me different unless it was a valid reason. Just because they're special needs doesn't mean you should give them more attention. It's like how schools get people of different races to seem diverse. |

Halting, I politely disagree.
They did it though because those kids are really very lonely, and I know a select few in that school that make fun of them. They did it just to make them happy, nothing more. Better them than some popular idiot at the school, because the special needs people would appreciate it more, and remember and cherish that moment for the rest of their lives |

I'd understand if they had life-threatening diseases or something but this isn't really newsworthy was it a slow day or somethin |
