| Well, I immediately check for any free models (which includes various scripts.) If they pass the free-model-test, I will then check from an aesthetic point of view. Is it visually pleasing? If a game makes it this far, I must commend the game maker. Very little games right now are original and have actually been worked on with care.. not rushed with free models *cough cough* JuliusColesV2 *cough cough* |

| I would see if it uses scams or gives unbelievable high power to people who buy developer products. |

I look first to see if it has re-playable value.
If I join a game that has a goal-oriented task, (like a single-player game) Then I will enjoy it and probably never play again. If it's a multiplayer game I expect it to save, otherwise I wouldn't waste time.
Also I love customization in any form. Customize a logo, a color, or name stuff. Like a game that lets you name an item, Or color a car/house Or put a picture on something, Those end up being my favorite. |

| Fun, then balance, then features, then free models. |

Even though it's roblox, I look for the basic qualities in a game. Basically looking at games through the front page, I can judge if I'll look more into a game within seconds. If it seems more professional, with thought out thumbnails and title, chances are I'll give it a chance.
For examples here's a game that makes a good first impression: http://www.roblox.com/R2D-place?id=1871149
And also one with a bad first impression: http://www.roblox.com/Robloxs-Top-Model-place?id=162344480
Next thing I do is look at the concept of the game. I look for originality. RP's and Tycoons will push me away from playing the game.
If a game passes these, I'll join the game and give it a chance. Once ingame first thing I look for is how user-friendly a place is. The GUI needs to be clean and understandable. From there it's just how well the game's coded. I don't require a game to have massive heavily coded elements, I just want the game to not resemble every roblox game in existence. |
