| For the better, or the worse? This shouldn't be offensive to anyone who lost people during this time, just a simple question. |

This seems like a homework question.
Yes, it has given the US a greater focus on security and safety than freedom which we are just now starting to feel the consequences of. |

For the worse..
It increased more racism, blind patriotism...
and a war started... that was bad too! |

I got yelled at today, while disembarking at Port Canaveral, because I had my phone out and the only sign that said "no electronics" was in a remote part of the terminal behind all the major lines and passport check lines.

For the worse? Maybe more explaining into it?
Also, this isn't a homework question.
In my opinion, though, you got to see from other perspectives. If an American sees an Arabian man, for example John Hopkins, then people think something racist.
As for others, some think a rich man, a sterotype of that source. |

Worse. We have the stupid security stuff in the airports so now everyone is angrier and doesn't travel. Wait, it must be a conspiracy so Americans don't see the rest of the world and run away. |

| I know someone who was on a flight at the same airport. And his flight was on September 10, 2001. He still has the ticket. |
