I use remote events for grouping a bunch of other events under a single name. They're really really useful, I assure you. For example, I use it primarily to force the player's inventory gui to update whenever they do something, be it picking something up, dropping something, using something or buying something I can just make those actions fire the event, and then I don't have to connect UpdateInv to each thing - Only when the event fires. Remotevents are also super suoer useful when combined with modulescripts, aince that way you don't have to hardcode how your events happen. |
