So the other day I got an idea to make a xbox 360 controller (You could also use ps3 but I don't have a ps3 controller) work with roblox Obviously it uses a 3rd party program and not just roblox itself
I used a program to map the 360 controller buttons to keyboard buttons, so if I press a controller button it would press a letter on the keyboard (Not counting the home button there are 24 buttons on the controller, and because i and o are used for zooming in / out, 24 letters I could use on the keyboard, I could have used other keys but Im glad I was able to leave it all letters)
Heres a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytZ2i4JGgWo&feature=youtu.be
When you press a button, the int value counts up at 10 per second so you know what they press and for how long, and can do things with the input (Like say, moving the camera like I did with the S2 input)
So yah, it isn't really that advanced but I thought it was an interesting idea and wanted to share it with other people |

This is not hard.. All you would do is map the controls just like every other xbox 360 game available on the pc |

| Its not useless, I can make my own game based on it and play by myself, it'll be more fun testing things with a controller |

'very useless, you can't even click guis'
ur stupid you could assign the 'select' button to highlight any button or textbox, and map out the controls with the d-pad or joystick |

Just use DS3 tool Its uncomfortable at first and you'll have to make custom setup profiles for dif games like COR5 and an obby for example

This isn't meant to be used in other games
Its meant to make it possible to script things when a button (But really its keyboard) is pressed on the keyboard
Example In the video I made a script so that t makes the camera move down, f makes it turn left, g makes it move up, h makes it move right
So when I use the controller that has the right stick mapped to t f g and h, I can use it to move the camera |

| I've already mapped it but I'll check that out, it might be better than the program I'm using now, thanks |

| This is very astonishing. Mainly due to how you were able to construct the values to correspond with key input. This would be very efficient if you were to employ this logic into a game that relies on pressure keys. |
