- OFFICIAL DOCUMENT - ☰ CLASSIFICATION: NOT CLASSIFIED [DARPA] ☰ TYPE: PUBLIC RELEASE ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Alright, the entire point of this document is to clear up some misconception regarding the announcement of the new data-collection system, which somehow is causing people to think it invades their privacy.
I'll admit, I didn't elaborate on the topic that much, mostly delving into the mechanics, rather then informing the citizens of what data is being collected and what it's being used for, leaving room for conspiracy theories and assumptions.
I'd originally planned to release the full details of this operation after it had been fully thought out in a Department of Defense and Intelligence Community joint-meeting, but here's the core intention for this system: to prevent terrorism, improve streamlining of tag-based items, classify citizens, circulate data-flow to one primary location consisting of - terror threat level, current agencies, current/past suspected/confirmed terror groups, and additional items that will remain classified, but do not, in any way, violate your privacy.
All of these items are subject to change and nothing is confirmed. If the Supreme Court mandates it, we will go to Congress for authorization, but until then, the educated assumption will be made that it is unnecessary.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Body of original document: "Alright, so the entire point of this document is to inform the people of the United States of America of the new method of data-collection we will be using. As the current method proved to be inefficient and received a large amount of negative response from other directors and advisors. Therefore, I further thought into the matter and came across some interesting API methods I could use with HttpService and a PHP-based off-roblox webserver, including the rproxy method: /Game/LuaWebService/HandleSocialRequest.ashx?method=IsInGroup . So, in order to do this, I'd have to send perhaps somewhere around 99999999 requests to verify every single user without having the definite current amount of users on ROBLOX. The HttpService request limit is 500 requests per a minute, which is too much of my own time to use up doing this. This is where the PHP webserver comes in. I'll be using it to bounce my requests to the rproxy:/Game/LuaWebService/HandleSocialRequest.ashx?method=IsInGroup method. This way, I'll only have to send one request from ROBLOX and all the data will be there waiting for me. For this massive data collection, constitutionally, the Supreme Court may mandate that I go to Congress for authorization on this operation, but until any judicial interference, I will proceed."

What if I don't want my data collected? What sort of data will be collected?
This is surely just another way for the government to monitor our conversations and fire/FP anybody who speaks badly of the President? |

Actually, jet, that is not what it is used for. This is meant to primarily, store public data of civilians in one location. Emphasis on "public". No private data will be recorded.

@Ryan
It could have other uses as well. For instance, I could look up someone's arrest record, past jobs, see if they're a wanted criminal, etc.

Nice, I like to see the use of PHP. Used similiar in my website itself to control teams and all sorts of things remotely.

| Question though. DARPA doesn't collect information. It is the main tool used by the DoD and some other agencies to build the technology used to collect the data for which is more the NSA's job. So I understand the building of the system but not DARPA collecting it. |

@soviet; It was signed by George W. Bush in 2001, before the forming of this United States, therefore we adopted the bill in addition with the other acts currently in the United States government in order to strengthen the realistacity of the ronation.
Peroxyde, this violates your privacy in no way.

Also, death, we are engineering the system, and will retain control of the software, however the usage control will be by the President, Secretary of Defense and Director of National Intelligence.

Yeah, um no.
Never heard of a bill being passed or ordered that allows this.
Don't be surprised if you get sued. |

Okay, Soviet, well, in reality, the necessity of the Patriot Act for authorization is null. This touches no sensitive information, simply public information like name/userid. It also logs any terrorist groups the citizen is in. None of this is illegal, pressing charges is a waste of time and resources for the judicial branch.
