When you all here the word communist, most of you assume the words of evil, when in reality, this is a misconception and stereotypical.

Why I believe in communism?

I believe in equal rights for all. I'm tired of seeing homeless people die on the streets while teenage girls earn millions marketing their terrible music. I want freedom for all, and not just the ones who can afford it. I wish to see everyone have a job and food for their family.

This all - except the "all can have a job part" - are avaible in countries with a more socialistic side too.
Besides, communism can't work, won't work and can't even come to exist anymore if you'd ask me. That is, as in, no new communistic states will be born. Simply because politics, it's failure and the greed in human nature - no matter how little.

Communism works in many countries

And not all homeless people are drug addicts, and even if they are, communism would help them not be drug addicts by getting them a job.

"communism would help them not be drug addicts by getting them a job."

Isn't this what employment offices do?

employment offices aren't as encouraging and they don't actually give you a job, they just help you search.

Either way, not as effective.

Explain and in which.

"And not all homeless people are drug addicts, and even if they are, communism would help them not be drug addicts by getting them a job"
Getting a job won't stop the addiction. Don't you realise that?

"employment offices aren't as encouraging"
-> opinion.

"and they don't actually give you a job"
Not always. Gotta have some skills, luck and good timing on your side.

", they just help you search."
Which gets you to find a job. *slow clap*

"Either way, not as effective."
The workers will work more efficiently and it allows for better specification in the economy. That IS good and to top that off: it creates competition.

In ways, it does stop addiction, it gives them something else to do, something that will actually benefit them.

And isn't China communist? They have over 1 billion people, about 11% of our population.

If they weren't communist,a good percent of them would most likely die from starvation.

What is discouraging about helping him search for a job? Because it requires more effort? If this homeless man has no ambition, drive, or sense of purpose, then simply placing him in a job isn't going to be very effective. He'd perform rather poorly.

@Taiwolf

Maybe he needs encouragement to find a job, instead of making him go on his own.

warmboy, I'm not so sure you fully understand communist philosophy.

China is not an example of a communist society.

"In ways, it does stop addiction, it gives them something else to do, something that will actually benefit them."
Which .. doesn't .. stop the addiction. And how will it be beneficial. They could also just sit on their lazy asses, since communism means equal contribution of wealth. Side note: don't even bring up the "But communism has no money"-arguement. Wealth can just as easily be determined by goods.

"And isn't China communist?"
No. And there it stops. Your whole sentence.

"If they weren't communist,a good percent of them would most likely die from starvation."
They're not communist. Do you even know what communism is? Give me a definition of what communism is in your _own words_.

"I'm not sure with China lol, just a quick example."
Then don't use it as an example. It just makes you look worse than you already did.

"But i'm sure their are plenty other communist countries in the world."
There are none when you look at the true definition of communism. North-Korea is NOT communistic. It has classes, to keep the arguement short.

Of course an employment agency isn't going to hold their hand for the rest of their lives, but they most certainly do help job seekers and offer them some guidance. The world of business requires some independence and self-sufficiency.

There aren't any countries that are communist.

One of the core principles of communism is that of a stateless society

Depends on how you defy a country as communist, I look at the world and I see many countries with communistic views.

I don't know about you.

Warmboy, let me give you a proper definition of communism:

Communism = A society with no classes, no state, no money and equal contribution of all wealth (goods).

Their are different classifications for communism.

There is no 1 definition, if you think that, you are wrong.

"Depends on how you defy a country as communist,"
There's only definition for communism.

"I look at the world and I see many countries with communistic views."
Communistic views doesn't mean they're communist. And surely, if apparently do you see them, then you might as well name some..
