When I do a test run, some of the unanchored parts just randomly fall over for no reason. Most of them usually wiggle around in place when I run it, but some move inconsistently and it never runs the same each time. |

Are the parts supposed to move? If not, then Anchor them. This keeps lag down. Only parts that need to move have to be Unanchored.
If they are moved into each other (CFramed with CollisionCheck off) and Unanchored, then they will push away from each other. CFramed items have to be Anchored.

Ok, I take blame for making myself sound like a newb, but I am definitely not.
Yeah, they are supposed to be unanchored. I am trying to make a domino track, and there's so much that I can't do with Roblox that would work perfectly fine in RL. For example, I cannot stack even a single layer on top of anther without them falling off at the start for no reason. Is there some way to disable the randomness in physics? |

Ah I see. When you place the dominoes are they sitting on the baseplate? If they are slightly inside or above the baseplate they will move and may fall. Also if the parts they are on are tilted that may affect it. When I put parts on top of other parts I use the 1/5 stud grid and make sure the 2nd part is sitting on top of the 1st part.
If you want give a link to the place and I'll have a look. |

| I appreciate your help, but I'm just going to give up and accept that there is no way to do this on Roblox. |

You just have to figure it out. Almost anything is possible on ROBLOX. I have seen a few places with dominoes that work. Trial and error and practice can solve pretty much anything. |

Shedletsky made one, he didn't rotate the dominoes, but here it is:

| I see what you mean, it used to work, but the dominoes stacked 3 high will fall. The ones stacked 2 high work fine. |
