| Possibly, parts could reflect their surroundings and incoming light, just like real reflective objects. It would make for some realistic and stunning windows. |

That would be really stressing their graphics engine. I'm not sure they can apply that without causing crashes or freezing just yet.

| @racer, Maybe, the effect could be dialed up or down with the graphics settings. (Or, be one of those features that only works on 10, such as dynamic part shadows.) |

| They could do this but they do not for several reasons. The first of these reasons being that it would be months of development time. The second and likely most important factor is the tech spec that this game is aimed at. Roblox is meant to be a game that can essentially be loaded onto any computer and work with playable framerates. If an engin update this massive were to happen it would likely strain many peoples CPU's too much and cause them to get framerates that would be unplayable. Maybe in a couple years they might do implement your idea into the engine when CPU integrated graphics catch up a bit more. |
