So I have been working on a game with my game dev group. I want to advertise it all at once to jumpstart it. My questions are:
1. How do I get the most out of my ads for my game. (Game relevant, non game relevent? What type of ad?) 2. How many people per 10k tix could I get when using relevent or relevent? (2 answers) 3. Is there any certain time/date to advertise?
(Consider I want plays, not clicks)
Thanks! -Thresh

Game-relevant ads are certainly the better choice. Otherwise, people will click to comment on the ad, but not play the game.
Make a bright, exciting ad that also shows off what your game has to offer. I've found that having "buttons" on the ad can also get more people to click, and assuming the ad is relevant, can lead to more plays.
There's no specific time or date to advertise, but you can flip through the pages to see if any one person has paid a lot for ads that day (such as the 2M tix that BuildIntoGames apparently spent... sure don't wanna advertise then!) |

| Its called a question. tl;dr is the most useless post there is, it shows you have no life to wonder onto threads and feel like you MUST post something. |

The most important thing to do in advertising is having a product worth advertising. Before purchasing an ad, make sure to touch up on the game, even if it's adding a few badges.
I would also agree that game relevant ads are better. Take interesting screenshots from the game. |

| Weekdays usually have less ads running, but less people looking. Weekends are more jam packed, but bring a better rate or people if a high amount. It depends on luck and lots of money |

So at how much tix would you advise against doing ads on the weekends or when at what amt. would I want to do it on weekdays.
My overall question is: How many tix = how many visits? |

1. How do I get the most out of my ads for my game. (Game relevant, non game relevent? What type of ad?) >Put images of your game, instead of comics. 2. How many people per 10k tix could I get when using relevent or relevent? (2 answers) >I don't know what you are asking 3. Is there any certain time/date to advertise? >I have found that I get the most plays on sundays around 12 in the afternoon |

| There's no way of knowing that in advance. It depends on how long people stick around in your game. |

This is the last question: How much should you spend to get an accurate sample on which ad is the best? |

| Depends on your budget. I would spend around 5k on a test ad. |
