ROBLOX's graphical settings are very basic, and don't allow for much control over how the game looks and performs.
The current graphics slider is great for the people that don't have high-end computers, but when you do have one, it really does limit you.
I'd appreciate an 'Advanced' menu, where you'd be able to fine-tune the ROBLOX graphics settings.
The reason I suggest this is because of certain annoyances that this graphics-slider system creates.
As an example, what if you want to have your render distance lower, but still have other effects on (like better lighting, as an example)?
Another example - I play with a very high-end system, and I get 120+ FPS on other games. When you come back to ROBLOX (which limits the FPS at 60), it tends to look choppy (especially with a monitor with a higher refresh rate).
The 'Advanced' menu could have settings like max FPS, resolution, render distance, graphics quality for bricks with materials, and a whole load more.
Thanks. |
