You can't put a desktop GPU in a laptop.
Dumbass.

| Well I'm sorry I don't waste my life learning the ins and outs of a computer that I barely use unless for my school work and basic browsing on the mother f%cking internet, while typing on a forum and trying to know what I should buy and not enter buying something garbage. |

It's common sense that a graphics card that is thicker than a laptop won't fit into a laptop.
Doom and Half-Life 1 at most will run on a $500 laptop.

| It would work for some of those games, but it would be better to save your money to get a higher end laptop like an ASUS ROG-series or a Lenovo Y510p |

You underestimate the power of cheaper mobility. That is a quad-core A8 and my pentium was able to play games at decent frames |

I'm no where close to over $1000 for a laptop I barely have $100, with money I might get for Christmas I could afford a $500 laptop at least |

| But my main question is will I be able to play Minecraft on the Windows 8.1 laptop when Microsoft allows it to happen since they got there hands on it recently and Wolf The New Order play at medium graphics settings and a decent FPS? |

"allow it to happen"
Minecraft has worked on Windows 8 and 8.1 when they first came out.
New Order requires more than the laptop you picked to even be ran. |

| Yes, and you'd probably get 30-45 fps on a $500.00 laptop. |

@Lethal
I'm okay with that. My PC plays most games at 12 fps to begin with so thats better and I guess if i lower graphic settings I could play it at a better fps. |

Are you stupid? GPUs for laptops are soldered to the board if they aren't built into the CPU. |

@Halo I've heard this thing called "Clothrex" tastes really good.
On Topic: If $500 is the best you can do, an AMD APU laptop is not really something you can go wrong with.
But if you have $1,000 or $2,000, I'd say get a Lenovo Y50 or a Razer Blade 2014 (if you are into ultraportable and brand names).

If you don't understand basic lingo for computer terms, and you are hanging around people who do... You will be made fun of.
PCs are the same as what you call Laptops. Same thing, different form factor. Theoretically, you could have a desktop with handles and that would be portable. |

| If you have over $1000 then I would get a desktop instead of a laptop. |
