Both are good.
03 = A bit darker and mildly good/bad ending.
Brotherhood: Ends good, longer, covers the manga. |

| aren't they the same thing, just brotherhood has an actual writer throughout the entire thing and is overall higher in quality |

Brotherhood's storyline follows its manga counterpart's, whereas FMA deviates from it. |

FMA deviates from the manga due the timing of the airing of it and the manga.
FMA passed the manga in the story and they had to improvise.
But FMA was still so good enough the fans caused the anime counter-parts creators to create FMA:B. Just a name change to differentiate the two.
They're both good.
Any anime hater who has watched it can say it's good. |
