Read 'Roblox Studio' in the wiki. (press F1 to open the wiki)
Then come back and ask informative questions about what you read.
Basically all building is done in studio edit mode. You would set parts to custom FormFactor before building. And change the grid as needed. |

I've seen a few beginner tutorials on youtube, you could check those out. If you've never built anything in studio, then it's going to take a while for you to adapt to using the properties sidebar, the resize and rotation tool, and you will probably start using hotkeys (Ctrl + C to copy, Ctrl + V to paste etc.) You can get used to this by building simple structures, practicing changing the properties such as the FormFactor, transparency of the brick, and reflectance.
A few tips I can give are:
-remember to anchor/unanchor things depending one whether you want them to move or not -to select multiple bricks, press and hold Ctrl whilst selecting the bricks you want to move.
It's probably going to be frustrating at first, but you will get used to it
happy building |
