Drinking glasses of 6cm diameter and depth 12 cm are packed into boxes with internal measurements of 28.5 cm long, 19 cm wide and 13cm high. The spaces between and around the glasses are filled with polystyrene granules. Calculate the volume the polystyrene has to fill.

Find the area of each glass
Find the area of the box
Find out how many glasses there are and the total area it would take hp
Take that away from the area of the box
