The Millikan Rams are definitely living up to the hype that they have created for so very long. After last seasons fair run, going all the way to the OWC Championship game, but falling short to Corinth. I am almost certain that the Millikan Rams will have their first Victory Bowl game in season 4. I was able to talk with Clinteastwood5, the Rams defensive coordinator. I asked him why he thought that Millikan lost their Week 1 game to Korblox. He said "We had major QB problems. We had some trolling and RQ issues aswell. We think that we have that fixed. But really, the score didn't tell the story of the game." I was very interested to hear more angles of this, so I also talked to Omgninja1. He told me "The Korblox loss kinda bummed the team down. I can see that we have got a bright future ahead of us, though." So after hearing these two, it had seemed to me that the Rams had found their mistake in losing to an inferior team. They had both told me that they had a bright future ahead of them. Before I left, I was fortunate to catch the Millikan Ram's HC, Redbaron101. I asked him what he though of last years regular season/playoff run. He told me "We start out with a great run, but a lot of the defensive players went inactive halfway through the year." I also asked him if the team had any new strategies for this season. He responded with "Most of the roster is new, so we have a new strategy. It is the same one we used in week one." He told me more, but for fairness purposes, I will not release the strategy he told me. I asked Red if there were any influential players to watch this season. He said "Our main player to watch is the HB FieroMarco." So there we have it. Millikan with new strategies, and new ideas to make this team a VB contender. ~Moxxius Beat Writer, OFL Network |
