exists simultaneously, and our perception of time is just the brain's way of processing history in a way it can handle?
we can all agree that you exist 5 minutes from now, and that the version of you reading this will be a part of the past in 5 minutes
what is the present? how long is the present? there's no such thing as the present, because there is no measurement of time small enough to describe it. "present" is just a word we use to describe our brain's transition from the future to the past. once the future enters the past, it's stored in our memory, and more things get processed.
once our memory gets full, our old or irrelevant memories fade away. the only thing stopping us from experiencing our entire lives in the same moment is memory. if we had no memory, and only ever knew the "present", our brains would be more than capable of showing us our whole lives at once.
it's a known fact that when you're dreaming, your memory function is either turned off or greatly reduced. what if dreaming allows us to view every moment our consciousness is capable of experiencing? what if our consciousness will exist after we die, and has existed before we lived? does dreaming allow us to view every moment in time our past or future lives has or will ever experience?
this has been my philosophical ramblings. gimme your 2 cents |

| also, if our reality is entirely based on our perception of things, that sort of ties into quantum physics, right? right? |

| there was this guy (google the article) who found an old computer algorithm called "block linear self dual error correcting code" hidden within a string theory equation that explains the structure of the universe. matrix? |

the first dimension = 2 possible directions: forward and back (a line)
the second dimension = 4 possible directions: forward back left and right (a paper)
the third dimension = 6 possible directions: forward, back, left, right, up, and down
one dimensional object can exist in the second dimension, and two dimensional objects can exist in the third dimension. by that logic, third dimensional objects can exist in the fourth dimension, in the same way a piece of paper can exist in the third. our minds are logically incapable of perceiving this, in the same way a second dimensional being would be incapable of picturing a third dimensional scenario. what would the fourth dimension be like? |

| the multiverse theory is a widely believe theory that suggests there are an infinite amount of universes. considering the concept of infinity, an infinite number would contain every possible number combination an infinite amount of times at some point in the number. if there is infinite universes, that means every possible scenario you can think of in your head exists in an infinite amount of universes somewhere. |

This reminds of the 10 dimensional video I saw It sounds like the 5th or 6th dimension, I forget which |

| think of the concept of reality. why do you exist? it's interesting to think about how the way you see everything, the entire concept of sight, hearing, touch, etc, is created by your brain. outside of your perspective, everything is just matter and energy. the way you see the room around you is something only you and other humans see. imagine if you had no senses, no touch, smell, taste, sight, etc. you couldn't feel your way around, you wouldn't know what sound or sight was. you wouldn't know pain. your memory would be irrelevant. you would just exist. that must be how rocks feel, assuming every object has a consciousness, which is also a study someone did somewhere i think. |

plot twist: your perception of the color red and my perception of the color red are different, even though we both grew up calling it red |
