If any of you are familiar with the STEAM Community workshop, it allows members of the site to show case models, maps and re-skins for games found on STEAM such as Garrysmod.
How the workshop would function is like this, similar to how Team Fortress 2 and Valve use the workshop is to allow users to create items that may be implemented in the game if compatible. It'll work pretty much the exact same way allowing users of ROBLOX to create hats, gears and perhaps body morphs as some people on this site may be very talented with 3-D modelling and some robloxians obviously show skill in the re-texture departments however re-textures shouldn't be accepted as it will flood the workshop.
If an item submitted to the workshop is accepted it will then be put on sale on the ROBLOX catalogue, the user who submitted it will receive the item for FREE and can perhaps receive a small portion of the sales made during a specific duration.
If you think of this idea in a bigger picture, more gears, hats and body morphs for everyone. It can also open up for charity, for example just like how roblox created a virtual Ice Bucket Challenge gear to raise awareness for ALS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'd like to hear some of your guy's thoughts on this idea, adapt or fix any issues you may have with this by leaving a reply.
-Thanks |

| Stuff like free models wont be much of an issue, most free models are made from stuff already in roblox. Therefore it shouldn't be accepted by default, the same thing applies to re-textured items. |
