I fell asleep but the first thing I heard was "if you don't stand up to bullies, you're just as bad-" *fell asleep*
When will people realize that assemblies telling people not to bully just increase the amount of bullying that occurs... |

@SundrySprings
Yeah... I really don't feel like confronting some strangers over something that I know nothing about.
Don't like making enemies and budding into other peoples' business... |

| Why do the majority of schools think the "bully" has always had a bad life and that's why they act that way? That's not the case all the time you dumbasses. |

That too! Every "bully" had a rundown house, messed up parent(s), and a horrible childhood.
Every "bully" has a deep fear that they're scared to express, so they take it out on "innocent" people... |

| I hate it when adults say not to stand up for yourself. If someone is beating the mess out of you, are you just supposed to stand there and take it? |

All of my teachers except one say that you should run and tell a teacher if someone "bullies" you.
My Civics/Econ teacher is the only one who said fight back if something goes down...
I just really hate the really loose way that the word "bully" is used now..
You pushed someone one time and you're the reason that [some number] of kids... off themselves.. |

| Keep in mind that these assemblies are held for the benefit of the parents, not necessarily you. They're trying to exonerate themselves should a real incident happen. They want to look like they didn't support it. |

Sometimes they aren't even bullies. The "victims" don't try standing up for themselves even once. One of the best ways to take out your "bully" is to stand up and show them you don't like being pushed around. Had this problem in elementary school with an asshat and he left me alone for the rest of the time I was in elementary.
Then he moved away as soon as we got to middle school. Oh well. |

Yeah.. I moved to the district that I'm in now in the middle of 3rd grade.. long story short, when I came back from suspension the dude left me alone.
We're actually best friends now lol..

| Part of being a bully is imitating someone because it arguably makes you better, and aggressive. |
