In the laptop I'm getting, it has an APU with this GPU:
AMD Radeon HD 8610G
Can I upgrade it? If so, are there any GPUs better than that for under $200? |

There aren't really many laptops that you could upgrade parts to. Every motherboard uses a different form factor shape depending on the model.
The tough to find a better one will be tough. You have to look up GPUs that support the motherboard, then the cost of them (they don't run cheap), then disassemble the whole laptop to put the thing in. |

the brand is HP so i'm just going to guess that the gpu is soldered - which means no
if you're just buying that laptop and already worrying about upgrading it i would return it and save up for a laptop you wont want to upgrade (i would recommend asus) |

| FELlNE, that laptops amazing for the price I got it, which was $450. It's amazing even for $650. I'm not worried about the GPU. It's just that I've never had a PC with a really good graphics card and was thinking I might want to upgrade it. |

I know for a fact that HP Pavillion PCs do just fine with their graphics. They are truly nice, from what I've heard. |

@leexte the only problems i've had with HP computers is that they have terrible ventilation my last computer was a pavilion d7 and it was burning hot even after cleaning the fan out regularly |
