Yeah it can mang.
It can, possibly, make "real life" look a lot less fullfilling and thus lead you to being less happy to the point of depression.
You'd also want to sleep a lot more, and in extreme cases, resort to perscription sleeping pills and other drugs of the sorts that can cause major addiction. Which would only add on to the depression, thus deepening the dependence on the drugs/sleep.
The cycle goes on. |

except i wouldnt sleep more because well i wouldnt want to no matter how good it is
and, literally most of the time it leads to happyness not depression

I'm simply sharing another view.
My cousin had to go to rehab for some naughty drugs and met a guy in this Lucid dream depression thing. |
