Alright, now that it's officially 1 week from week 1, and I know that the first game is on Thursday, but since its a week away from the other games, I thought I would post my predictions.
Green Bay @ Seattle: Seattle. I don't see them losing a single game at home this year, despite what Arizona did to them last year.
Washington @ Houston: Washington. Both these teams were huge disappointments last year considering they both made the playoffs in 2012. I see Washington winning in a close low scoring game because... Houston just flat out sucks..
Tennessee @ Kansas City: Kansas City. They could probably win this game by 25 points.
New England @ Miami: New England. I feel like I'm taking a risk here by taking New England, because Miami did beat them last year in Miami. But New England never loses in week 1, so I'm taking them.
Oakland @ NY Jets: NY Jets. Both these teams suck, I'll just take New York because their at home.
Jacksonville @ Philadelphia: Philadelphia. I don't think this game is going to be close, but I do think the Jaguars have a future with Gus Bradley and Blake Bortles.
Cleveland @ Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh. They should of made the playoffs last year, but their 0-4 start came back to bite them in the back. They won't lose this game because Cleveland is a joke. And don't give me all this BS about Manziel. He isn't NFL ready and he never will be.
Minnesota @ St. Louis: St. Louis. Bradford is out for the season but it won't matter in this game because its against Minnesota... Do I need to say more?
Buffalo @ Chicago: Chicago. I don't think Cutler is the answer, but they will win this game because Buffalo is another team that sucks.
Cincinnati @ Baltimore: Cincinnati. I'm sorry but I just think without that defense Baltimore had 2 years ago they just aren't the same team, and they won't be for years.
New Orleans @ Atlanta: New Orleans. I don't think Atlanta will be as bad as they were last year but New Orleans always seems to have their number. New Orleans is a super bowl contender in my opinion.
Carolina @ Tampa Bay: Carolina. I know Carolina basically got rid of all their starting receivers, but they will win this game because there is no way Tampa will be able to match up with Carolina's defense.
San Francisco @ Dallas: San Francisco. This is a laughable game at best. San Fran will probably win this game by 30.
Indianapolis @ Denver: Denver. I'm sorry but after watching that playoff game against New England last year, I think as long as you just run the ball down Indy's throat you have a great chance of beating them. Indianapolis still has an incredibly easy schedule though, and I'd be surprised if they didn't win 12 games this year.
NY Giants @ Detroit. NY Giants. Detroit is too scared for success, we saw that last year how they just completely fell apart at the end of the season. The Giants started off 0-6 last year but there is no way that's going to happen this year.
San Diego @ Arizona. Arizona. The Cardinals almost made it to the playoffs last year, but that loss against the Rams came back to haunt them and they needed Tampa Bay to beat New Orleans in week 17, which they didn't. I think that although San Diego is a good team, Arizona will win this one at home.
So there you have it, my week 1 picks. |

1. the run defense has significantly changed since then, and do the broncos have the rush offense like the patriots had last playoffs? no. plus, colts beat the broncos last year, and held them to 19 points in 3 quarters. now the colts actually have dwayne allen and ahmad bradshaw. and they also brought in hakeem nicks so this team is much better than they were last year when they beat the broncos.
2. the schedule part is true, but they still play the broncos, patriots, ravens, redskins, eagles, bengals and the steelers
