It's not right, and shouldn't be tolerated by the community. If you've gotten scammed, face it. Don't be as bad as the person that scammed you. It just starts a vicious cycle of scamming. |

You're comparing murder and scamming
So do you think the police scam the scammer when he gets caught?
No, they are put in jail.

But the legality is different
If you kill a murderer You won't go to jail or be prosecuted *depending on the case* (like if he was posing a threat) |

Murderers are treated with 'death' in certain states, SIR.
You're probably going to say some people get sentenced to life (those are usually cases of manslaughter or neglect of child, maybe 45 years but hey.) |

I'm not saying a scammer deserves not to be scammed, or a murderer doesn't deserve to be murdered.
I'm saying "Getting revenge" shouldn't be tolerated. If someone murderer your dad, and you then murdered the murderer, you would still be accountable, and would serve a sentence. |

@Evelio
There have been thousands of cases where people on Craigslist and Ebay get arrested (yes, arrested) for scamming using USD.
On the Craigslist website they talk about this. |

@realizes Well let's see
If someone murdered your parents And you ran into the room and shot him You wouldn't go to jail Because it's legal |

Well by the statements you are.
Now let me answer that getting revenge shouldn't be tolerated.
Of course it can be justified to a certain extent, i.e murderer gets death sentence.
But I personally think it is justified when a scammer gets scammed.

| You can only kill in defense. So techically I guess you can scam someone ONLY if they are trying to scam you. Using this guys logic. |

@realizes Hope you realize that literally everyone is scammed without them knowing it. Usually by the government or corporations.
Usually in the form of taxes. Or hours |

If Person A scams Person B And Person C takes back from Person A what belongs to person B, and gives it back to person B You have a cycle of justice, not scamming.
If someone murders an innocent civilian, he may be punished by death by the judicial system.
Why? To discourage MORE murders, and to keep the murderer from murdering more.
Justice is needed, and without it, evil will abide.
For example: If we took away every law against murdering and scamming, as according to you, you shouldn't murder a murderer or steal from a scammer, do you really think it would get any better? Why would people stop scamming or murdering? They'd feel much more obliged to do so, instead of feeling afraid or discouraged to do it. Justice discourages evil, not the other way around. |
