"Good. We've been planning an attack on the ship thieves for some time. Now I have someone to fulfill that plan. Your mission parameters are on this datapad."

She gives it to you, and you read through it.

Mission Parameters:

The ship pirates are holed in an old abandoned ship a half hour from Gu'vei Station. This ship contains all stolen vessels and the pirates behind the Utopia's theft operations in Gu'vei. You are advised to enter as silently as you can. The ship has no atmosphere contained inside and is a complete zero grav environment, a move by the pirates to keep themselves invisible to our sensors unless we tag one of them. We have determined their suit's origins, and have developed an acid that will keep the ships and those who undergo the mission safe from harm, but melt the suits of the pirates, ending each and every one of them. Not the most moral way of warfare, but our resources are too thin for a full on attack. You must turn on the ship's power, and place the acid in the ship's AC. The acid and your suit are on the ship we are sending you on.

"Your ship," the sheriff explains, "Is in the hangar in the back of this level. Only a minute's walk. After you finish that, I would like for you to fulfill your job of wiping out the Utopia itself. Now leave! Being gone for this long may have very well screwed over the station."

"You don't need me twice, Sheriff."

Taking the can of acid with me, I head for the ship Sheriff Rytulee mentioned.

"I'd hope so, or else the company who owns this station would sue my arse off."

The ship had only an alcove where the door and the suit was, and a circular room with a chair in it's center. As you sit in the chair a voice pops up.

"Person detected. Scanning. Scanning. Scanning. Police department datapad detected. Authorizing clearance. Clearance authorized. Downloading mission coordinates. Coordinates downloaded. On your command."

A big red holographic button pops up, and you press it, and the windows open and you see the ship going up, and then leaving Gu'vei.

As it was said, the ship where the pirates were at was piece of inactive junk a half hour away from Gu'vei. As you approached, the police ship entered a cloak spell, and landed on the side of the ship, near a hole on the side opposite of the side that faced the sun. Once more, the voice popped up.

"Destination reached. Initiating ship scan. A near 75 biological persons detected in ship. All are believe to be hostile. The magic engines show no sign of energy, and their backup batteries are dead. Reactivating the engines will require basic knowledge into the area of "Magi-Tech" (Magi-Tech level 1 required). If you lack such knowledge, we have also detected still living batteries of the sort that the back up power uses in the lower levels of the ship. We have detected that a person adept in moving in zero-grav environments can use a hole to get near those batteries with little resistance, although a lack of knowledge while attempting this will kill you with a 100% certainty (Gravity level 1 required). A person capable of this can also use a hole in the engine room to get there with no resistance at all. The ACs can only be turned on in the life support room, at the level above the engine's room. You can also place the acid in them. Have a good day.

"All that, just to turn on the air-conditioners? And here I thought this was going to be too easy..."

I get up from the seat and move to grab the suit next to the door. I put it on, re-equipping my weapons onto the suit itself; never leave home without 'em.

After leaving the ship (and possibly a depressurization cycle), I descend through the hole at the side of the vessal.

(Simple Gravity Job completed!)

You land behind a couple of crates. In the silence of space, the only indicator of pirates past the crates are beams coming from flashlights. You estimate that there are two pirates. You have the element of surprise on your hands, don't waste it.

I take to the crates for cover, and pulled out Ada, my trusty revolver. I take aim, and fired off two shots in quick succession (Double Shot).

(I forgot to mention, your rifle can use Snipe since it's a rifle and it's got a scope...)

(Ability (Double Shot) + Surprise MotherF-Er (Kudos if you got the reference)+ Attack Roll: (Miss) + 19 + 5 + 10 = 34 | Enemy 1 Health : -4/30)

The pirate's back was turned on you, and while the first shot missed, the second shot went through the spinal cord at the back of the neck and out of the throat. Your guess as to the number of enemies was right, and you see the other pirate scream out a word that would be too violent and fire a shot right you.

(Cover Roll 50%: Succeed!)

Sadly his shot was stopped by the crates.

(Double Shot is now on cooldown. It becomes active when I say it is, which is based on a system, so there is no bias.)

The pirate's helmet get hit and shattered. I won't describe it, but him getting spaced was not a lovely sight.

Your screen glows a transparent pale blue, and at the top of your screen in red letters are the words: Gu'vei Police Department Systems. Below it reads "No Hostiles Detected", which is followed by "Scanning for Important Objects". You see across the room five batteries illuminated in the darkness of space by holographic blue outlines. These five must be all that you need to get the backup generator active and running.

"Well, ain't that convenient. Saves me the trouble of searching for these things in the dark, at least."

I then move through zero-G to pick up all five of the glowing batteries.

The batteries are of a large size. Cylinders like most, they have a diameter barely small enough to fit in your, and are four inches longer than your hand. You can only guess their weight in this environment, but if you had to make one, it would be probably around 50 pounds each. Good thing you're in zero grav where the only supreme lord is Newton, or you'd have more trouble than it's worth. All that's left to do is to go to the engine room, and put this in the backup generator and then go to the life support systems and place the acid into the AC.

With all the batteries now tucked under my arm, I head to the lower levels of the ship to find the engine room.

You mean upper levels.

You climb up the ship's outer hull, as the police ship scans suggested, and enter the engine room. There are no pirates here. The generator was quick to spot, as it was in front of the hole and was instantly hit by your flashlight, and you recognized it by five heavily corroded batteries. You can just take those right out.

I start to remove the old battered up batteries, and replacing them with the new, less battered batteries.

As you insert the last battery, the lights in the ship come on. The blue appears again.

"Objective completed. Scanning for next objective. Objective scan completed. Neural signs show no knowledge of secondary objective. Creating map."

Some things that look like corridors and halls with one containing the outlines of ships come up on your screen in dark blue. And then you can see red dots moving to points on the screen.

"Hostiles detected. Determining position of hostiles. Hostile positions, determined."

You look at it, but you notice that two more pirates are at the front door. The map moves out of the way and to the corner of the screen as one of the pirates kick through the front door. He fires his rifle.

(Attack Roll: 10 = 10 | Your Health: 160/170)

The shot hits you in the left arm. The safety chemicals to prevent you from getting killed by space inject themselves into the wound, while the suit commences an auto-repair. Careful there, too much chemicals or shots taken in space may be bad for your health, or even lethal, in some cases. Especially if it's the screen, if that brakes the chems won't come on. Also applies if the wound itself is fatal.

Well, so much to being stealthy. I bring out my revolver again, and return fire at the pirate that shot me.

(Attack Roll: 12 + 10 = 22 | Enemy 1 Health: 8/30)

Your shot pierced his shoulder, causing him to cringe and make a screaming movement while chems filled his wound to prevent space damage.

The other one fire this time.

(Attack Roll: (Miss) = 0 | Your Health 160/170)

But sadly, it missed you.

(Double Shot is available now.)

I move to take cover behind the generator I've just started up. I take one more shot at the first pirate, then fired another at the second.

(Double Fire Spread)
(Attack Roll: 11 + 10 = 21 | Enemy 1 Health: -13/30)
(Attack Roll: 27 + 10 = 37 | Enemy 2 Health: -7/30)

Your first bullet goes through the wounded pirate's wound, causing an overdose that killed the poor man through intense pa.in. The second pirate got a bullet straight through his eye.

You sit down for a moment, and wait for the bullet damage procedures to take place, and then you get up, noticing that the first pirate's screen shows an active comm channel. You tap on to his screen, and the channel is downloaded onto your suit.

"Micheal, Charley, do you copy? Who turned on the power? Who killed those two down at the lower decks!?"

An angry voice is yelling through the channel. The map shows a room up ahead with two more dots. This room contains ship outlines, probably good for cover. After it are the stairs to the top level of the ship, where the life supports are. You should plan an attack, and quickly, before this man sends more people.

(Double Shot on cooldown)

Sounds like these pirates aren't too happy with me crashing their party; better get this job over with before they send more fun my way.

I quickly head for the upper levels where the life supports are.

You reach the end of the hall, where you stop, and take a peek. There are two pirates in the room. You can take this opportunity to try to take out one of them with your rifle, and you can also use the ships as cover.

As the voice in my head suggested, I took out my hunting rifle and grabbed some cover behind a wall.

I aim down the rifle's scope, placing crosshairs over one of the pirates, and pulled the trigger (Snipe).

(Snipe Roll: Succeed)

The first pirate's body went flying limp and dead as the bullet entered his skull.

The other looked towards your direction, but you have enough time to react before he does.

(I don't know why I put snipe as a cooldown thing. Ignore that, it's pointless to do that. :P)

(Actually, your message never mentioned snipe having to go into cooldown after use, just that it couldn't be used in combat. But alright; consider that non-existant instruction ignored)

//Spencer Keda\\

I quickly turn my focus to the other pirate in the room, looking down the sights again, and fire a second shot (Snipe).

Now I'm thinking about the soldier abilities... (Sigh))

(Oh, and the battle (Combat) has started. Redo that move.)
