Little did the Gods know there was an entity stirring in the depths of the caverns of Myth...One that had not been seen since the ancient years.
Long ago there was a council of elders, each of them shared their power within the Kingdom of Myth, which was in a peaceful era for the first time in a thousand years. However, peace in Myth never lasted long. There was lusts for power, battles for status among others, or fighting simply just to prove skill. But this...This was more than a fight for status or power. This was a fight against the ancient entities which had for so long terrorized the world of the Mythical, for thousands of years on end. The elders, sensing destruction of the entirety of Myth, united with a council with four grand elders to destroy these beasts.
The Beasts put up quite a fight. Many Gods' lives were taken, including those of the elder gods. They rampaged through the lands, tearing apart every last settlement in existence, until they reached the Citadel, where the four grand elders resided.
The Grand Elders had set up a defense, like no other, launching all kinds of attacks on these beasts. The beasts, as predicted, utterly destroyed the defenses, sending the walls of the Citadel crashing down, crushing the defenses set at the bottom. These unstoppable forces moved on to the main palace, where the Elder Gods made their stand, and stunningly banished the beasts to the prisons of chaos.
Afterwards, the world of Myth unsurprisingly did not turn to peace. Mortals and Gods wanted compensation for the destruction of their property and homes. Thus began a rebellion, which attacked what was left of the Citadel, easily crushing and overthrhrowing the Grand Four, along with any of their fellow Elder gods who chose to side with them.
Since then, the world has changed. The Grand Four were replaced by royals, who ruled over Myth for the next generation. Normally a King would rule, and his eldest son, if he had one, would take the throne as the heir. But that soon changed, when one day, a King of Myth was killed by a disease, leading to a great war at hand. The eldest son, Aldis, clashed with the younger son, Traxis, for control of the throne.
However, Adrios, the God of Water, had previously collected spheres, leading to him being able to take on Traxis, and win with the help of his elites, which led to an era of great change. Terror and Chaos broke free, consuming the land of Myth, and brutal warfare raged between Aldis, Traxis, and Adrios.
Adrios' army soon faced off against Traxis, who battled Adrios and his elites fiercely before being killed himself, his soul exploding and awakening an unknown entity.
Now, rumbling is heard within the battlefields. Something much bigger has arrived. Something that will take the combined efforts of all of the Gods. Something that can never be avoided, possibly more powerful than a royal...
ŁΛω øƒ Ŧɦ£ ŁΛהƊ
1: Yes, you are a god, but that doesn't mean you can do everything. Control of a creature is different from being able to summon it. An enhancement to equipment is different from having magical equipment. That being said, no general being able to do everything, no metagaming.
2: Everything in your CS should revolve around your sphere of influence. You cannot have a person who loves death and suffering have the sphere of healing, nor a person who is generous, polite, and otherwise a nice person to be around have the sphere of suffering.
3: Yes, you are allowed to kill and have little wars with other gods on the same side as you. Like godly feudalism. When a god dies, their sphere of influence is opened up, and the first to claim it gets all powers, property, and some of the former gods' personality.
4: I will assign factions, just to make sure that not everyone goes to one side and I have to do everything pertaining to the other side. While your sphere of influence and personality will usually make it obvious what faction you are assigned to, sometimes I will mix things up or if there is a large number of players on one side, a character normally assigned to one side may be given to the other. Note - The sides will merge.
5: This is essentially a free-roam, except for PvP. If PvP occurs, I will use logic and dice to determine the outcome of an action.
6. Rules may be made up as the roleplay moves on.
7. You may be an old god, not an elder god though, just a regular old god. Regular old gods are basically gods as well, though they are larger. And hate regular gods. Put Tunnels in other. Your first post as an old god should be awakening from your slumber and climbing your way out of the deeps, whether you bash your way through the rocks or take the tunnels is up to you.
ṖŁΛ¢£Ş:
Myth: The world where all gods and demigods reside.
Night: The underworld, basically. A place of eternal darkness, where only gods and demigods with permission may roam unharmed.
Chaos: The level below Night. An endless pit, nothing can escape from it, not even a god.
The Quarterlands: Mostly lush green fields, and the occasional forest here and there, this is where most middle- and high-class gods and their servants reside. A beautiful place, it is filled with farms and mansions for the gods.
The Lowlands: Mostly marshs, with a dry patch of desert here and there, this is where many low-class gods and many demigods must live. A hostile area, it is nevertheless valuable because of its seemingly endless fresh water and livestock fields.
The Terrace: A mountainous region, the highest-class gods, immortal heroes, and the royal family itself reside here. Hostile in some places, but beautiful and shining white in others. The royal palace is nested in a valley surrounded by seven mountains, a pass in where an eighth mountain may have once been. Located near the northern edge of the Quarterlands.
The Emerald Sea: The largest territory, a shining blue-green sea that surrounds the Quarterlands and Lowlands.
The Slums: An urban area in a vast area of the eastern Lowlands. A good 60% of the population of Myth lives in the Slums.
The Caverns: An area below the surface, but above Night. It extends out under all the territory, and there are rumors of tunnels that suddenly drop below the Emerald Sea.
The Shrine: A temple made of grey stone, completely impervious to most magic, the Shrine radiates magic and helps focus the mind. There is an order of gods here known as the Preservers, who are dedicated to keeping the Shrine as it is, preserving the known ways of magic as well as opening up new knowledge, and generally helping anyone who comes to the Shrine for peaceful purposes. Located in a valley in the Terrace.
The Fortress: An iron giant, the Fortress is made entirely of black iron, which is completely invulnerable to most weapons. Like the Shrine, there is an order of gods here known as the Hidden, who stay out of sight of visitors. From what can be discerned, they keep and practice ways of war long forgotten to most minds. Located in one of the deserts of the Lowlands.
The Deeps: A cavern system below even Night, dark, and filled with old beasts long thought to be dead. The location of where the old gods slumbered.

Name: Nymmjir, the Unyielding
Gender: Identifies as male for convenience.
Sphere of Influence: Shields, Telekinesis, Telepathy (if such a sphere is available), Control.
Personality: Nymmjir is as immovable and unyielding as his spheres of influence would suggest; indeed, he is very active and dominant in his interactions, even when others are unaware of this.
Nymmjir is a god with a hunger to rival that of the sphere of gluttony. Rather than a hunger for sustenance or material wealth, however, Nymmjir instead hungers for dominance and superiority over others, and gives very little regard to the established order.
Nymmjir is profoundly paranoid, and keenly aware of the personalities of others through simple observation and interaction, reading deeply into others and manipulating them accordingly. In contrast, Nymmjir is a very guarded individual; his gestures and actions are calculated, his words manipulative, and his mind as shielded as his body.
Despite his hunger and ambition, Nymmjir is very conscious of the consequences for swift and rash actions; he has played a patient waiting game, displaying a false personality of benevolent strength and power, attempting to worm his way into the service of Adrios for the sake of his own unknown schemes. He portrays a false care for statuses such as 'Royal' and 'Demigod', when in reality everything is simply seen in varying shades of lesser and greater by him.
Appearance: Nymmjir is an immense being, towering at a monolithic 15 feet, with a vaguely humanoid frame. Nymmjir's body is not one of blood and flesh, but of dense, silver-colored crystalline structures which reflect light in a radiant display. He is a being of jagged edges and sharp lines, possessing 3 separate sets of arms which remain crossed together under the great, silvery cloak that hides his lean, undefined form. This material that makes up Nymmjir's form is quite durable, capable of withstanding heavy blows with relative ease; an aspect of his shield sphere.
Although Nymmjir is 15 feet in height, his cloak hangs down an extra 5 feet; Nymmjir constantly levitates that amount above any given surface when there is room to do so, making him even more of a grandiose, seemingly radiant figure. Nymmjir's face is lacking in features; although there is the shape of a chin and other such things, he is lacking in everything from eyes to a mouth, the only defining feature being a great crystalline crest that curves back from his forehead and upwards.
Nymmjir is well-aware of the many disadvantages that such a large, eye-catching, grandiose form brings, and has kept it a careful secret that his sphere of control allows him to reduce his height and reshape his form to some degree.
Finally, 3 great shapes constantly orbit around Nymmjir's form; ovular in shape and half his height, these objects are Nymmjir's 'shields', and as much a part of him as the rest of his body, simply detached. They are made of the same crystalline, reflecting material, and are immensely dense; Nymmjir keeps them so close to his body that their elliptical orbit has them hovering a mere few feet from touching his cloak-clad figure. They are difficult for him to move very far away from him, but they provide him with an excellent defense.
Bio: Nymmjir, plotting and scheming in the depths of his own mind, has attempted to show allegiance to Aldis over the years, siding with the 'good lord of light' as a seemingly loyal servant. Nymmjir is known as a stalwart, immovable figure, both in the physical and emotional sense.
Other: Tunnels.
Name: Ceana, the Weaver.
Gender: Female.
Sphere of Influence: The Sky, Chaos, Love, and Music.
Personality: Ceana is the picture of equilibrium; she adores the sun, the stars, the clouds, and all else that dwells in the sky, but she is vividly aware of (and, to some extent, accepts) the darkness festering in the land, and in those that inhabit it, as well as the fact that even deities hold some degree of mortality.
Ceana is a peaceful individual who avoids physical conflict when possible, but often has a great deal to say regarding the issues of the world, including the recent power struggle. She is empathetic to the plight of those swept up in the conflict more than she is to those that perpetuate the conflict, and is the patron deity of those that face great hardships and the forgotten.
Ceana, despite the absolute darkness and emptiness of one of her realms, which even she is wary of going near, greatly enjoys vibrant, living environments, and the sounds therein; the calls of animals and the rustling of plantlife are two of her greatest musical inspirations, and there are many tales of a strange goddess lurking in ancient forests, singing strange and haunting songs.
Ceana, despite her disagreements with many other deities, keeps her doors open and offers counsel and comfort to even the likes of Traxis, though such types usually disregard her words. All are welcomed, so long as they do not sully the peaceful environment she offers.
Appearance: Ceana stands at 6 feet, her form sleek and midnight black, the gleaming texture making it seem as if she was carved from soft obsidian, rather than born of flesh. Her eyes and hair, however, contrast; her irises are a glimmering, pale blue, and she lacks pupils entirely, whilst her hair is a shimmering, silky mane of white that moves and flows as if the goddess is constantly submerged in water, though lacking in dampness.
Ceana's form is covered by something resembling a toga, though the material that makes it up is more akin to clouds given a physical, malleable form, wispy in appearance and even more ethereal in behavior than her hair. She travels barefoot.
Bio: Ceana, for the most part, has 'stayed low' during the years of turmoil and change. She has offered safety and asylum to multiple endangered deities over the years, despite the danger this places herself in due to her amiable, though guarded, interaction with multiple individuals who should be enemies by allegiance.
Other: Tunnels.
Ceana's voice is often described as 'musical': Soft, flowing, and tranquil, yet capable of rising to thunderous crescendos if the situation demands such authoritative strength. |

Name(No last name required, but include a title): Tol'Reth'Mus, Harbinger of the Astral
Gender(Yes, you can be both, or neither): Male
Sphere of Influence(Basically, what you represent as a god): The stars, (Spheres gained from previous events: Agility and the Seas)
Personality(Should coincide with your sphere of Influence): Tol, for short, views himself as a neutral entity. Since the stars are a force that hold no sway over the planet like the Sun and Moon, he is the wandering outsider, the obverver. A thinker rather than a doer, he prefers not to engage in conflict but will not hesitate if given a cause.
Appearance(Crazy as you like, be a blob of energy for all I care): Tol is a large black crystalline spider with seven eyes of shining purple amethyst. The diamondlike surface of his gemmed body occasionally glitters with famous constellations and nebulae.
Bio(What happened around you over the 12-17 years of all this?): The past years have been spent serving at the side of King Adrios. While lacking in sheer power/prestige, he held the position of advisor and is somewhat of a "head of Secretary"; strangers demanding an audience with King Adrios are often first approved by Tol. He accompanied Adrios and the other Elites in battling Traxis, unknowingly unleashing the stirring of ancient power.
Other(Anything else?): Mythic/Tears

Whoops I meant to change to Tunnels for Other, my bad.
Name(No last name required, but include a title): Nid'Hi'Kul, the Crested Treant
Gender(Yes, you can be both, or neither): Genderless/male
Sphere of Influence(Basically, what you represent as a god): Wood, trees
Personality(Should coincide with your sphere of Influence): Nid is slloooooowwwww and ppppaaaaaatieeeennnntt. Twigs snap and bark groans whenever he walks or talks, and it takes quite a while for him to say stuff. Despite all this, he is gentle giant; a kindly soul and a protector. Those who hurt his friends, however, will invoke the Crested's wrath.
Appearance(Crazy as you like, be a blob of energy for all I care): Nid is a giant praying mantis made up entirely of trees and branches, covered in moss and roots. He looks as though an oak tore itself from the ground and morphed into the shape of a mantis. Small woodland creatures are often seen scurrying about his form and show no fear of Nid. His four multi-lensed eyes are large fruits - an apple, an orange, a peach and a pear.
Bio(What happened around you over the 12-17 years of all this?): Nid has tended to the forest and sanctuary created and established by Adrios and the preservers, but has sensed and in fact has some valuable knowledge of the ancient powers that now stir.
Other(Anything else?): Tunnels. |

Name(No last name required, but include a title): Vraxx - The War God, Fist of the Elites.
Gender(Yes, you can be both, or neither): Male
Sphere of Influence(Basically, what you represent as a god): War, Strength, Charisma, Forgery, Warriors, Diseases, Blizzards, Beasts, etc.
Personality(Should coincide with your sphere of Influence): The War God has good and bad qualities. He is cold, merciless and unforgiving. He is aggressive and brutal. On the other hand, he is proud, bold and brave. A God without fear, he takes a direct approach to things. He would sacrifice himself for his men and his allies, and is known being well-respected among his soldiers. Gods and mortals alike.
Appearance(Crazy as you like, be a blob of energy for all I care): Massive, Armored, Scary. You catch the drift. [ill find link later]
Bio(What happened around you over the 12-17 years of all this?): Rolling with the Elites, it was Vraxx who first went into the realm of Night to face the Dark One, Traxis. Him, his king and fellow elites battle him in a fight which ended with his well-deserved death. With his backing from the Legion of Dread, he did stuff and such.
