I need some tips for it, I'm looking up reference photos and using the knowledge I know to help me.
I'm making it rather small for the house, but It's mainly a blacksmiths location. Any tips? |

| Textures are very important in medieval builds, also, try and make it look rough and crudely put together, to add a sense of realism. |

A blacksmith would have a forge located in a seperate outbuilding.
To make houses, the peasants would mix straw and mud, and shape it, and then make a thatched roof. To avoid this, you could go Scotland Highlands style, and make them out of circular cobblestone, but still a thatched roof.
It would have a very low roof, and virtually no overhang outside. There's also generally no room seperation. |

You could try adding a arch fire place. It would look very nice if you added small bins with water in them. Hey, why not a bookcase?!
