I used the negate function to cut into a cylinder brick so people could walk in it.
And you can't go in the hole.
The negate function doesn't actually cut through bricks.
I mean, what's the point? |

| You can still make some cool shapes with it. |

I want to use solid modelling to build a mansion for a ghost hunting game.
Basically, the ghosts travel through mirrors and run around the mansion. And you have armour and weapons (that are key activated, so pressing g shoots energy blasts) and you just hunt ghosts.

| All CSG works for right now, is to decrease parts lag and use as meshes. Unless you're building the mansion, I don't really see you needing that. |

I'm building the mansion from scratch.
Some of the mansion will be round, and I wanted to use solid modelling for this. Otherwise is have to cframe around cylinder bricks and it'd be easier and better looking to just use solid modelling. |

| Unions don't get along well with resizing, CSG would be a good tool for meshes such as hats or weapons. But for building sets, I'm afraid it is not yet essential. |

It would be very useful. |

| what did you expect? meshes have always been like this and dynamic hitboxes are apparently incredibly difficult to make because the only shapes that have a non cube hitbox we have are wedges spheres and cylinders |

For now, solid modeling is just for creating custom meshes.

@Crystal That makes the hole brike can collide, he only wants the hole uncollidable. |

@crystal One of the points of CSG is to decrease lag with less parts. "Building around it" is just the same as making a C-Framed hole. |

@exe you only need what 4 parts to make it seem solid? |

@crystal Not for me, I'm a perfectionist you see. A single misplacement of a measurement of .1 would make me the the model all over again. So, It would definetly take more than 4 bricks to make my ideal hole. |
