Lost my other post and search and google wasn't much help so...
PROBLEM Frames and various other GUI items can change according to screen size but TextLabel can't. This can cause issues when you either are on a device with a smaller or bigger screen than the device used to create the GUI. If it's smaller, it looks extremely unprofessional because the text will not fit into the frame or whatever item its in. On a bigger screen, it will look out of proportion because there will be tiny text on a huge frame or whatever. Yes, I have tried TextScaled. The problem with it is that it will not let you resize the TextLabel so you cannot get smaller text in a frame or whatever.
SOLUTION TextLabels should change size according to screen size like frames and various other gui objects.
TL;DR? TextLabels should change size according to screen size like frames and various other gui objects because they could end up too small or too big for the frame its in on different screen sizes. TextScaled is not a fix.

TextScaled...?
This isn't really an issue as far as I can see. Any GUIs that I've made, or other people have made (correctly), display perfectly fine on my screen. This includes TextLabels, TextButtons, etc. |

@Data
As I said before, the problem with it is that you cannot adjust the size of the text. |

@Freemium, And with something like TextScaled, you just need to adjust the size of the TextLabel to change the size, which you'd be doing anyway if you're setting the size of the TextLabel using scale rather than offset.

@Data
How could you make a button if a textlabel was covering it? Textlabel does not have the ability to detect click. |

Sorry, my mistake. I could just put a transparent button on top of the text label.
But still, for more novice users, wouldn't this be difficult for them? Shouldn't it be made easy for novice users to make perfect looking GUIs too? Also, what happens if you want the text bigger so you make the textlabel bigger but then you can't perfectly center it vertically and horizontally? |
