All the GUIs have a new look to them.
Menu button moved to upper left from lower left. Chat has been shifted downward by 48 pixels. This may cause it to overlap with user-made GUIs where it previously didn't.
Leaderboard and inventory take up roughly the same space.
Health bar has a new look. The dimensions are the same (the GUI has a total width of 170px, just like the old one, although the new one appears slightly smaller).
Old: Green textured (gradient) bar inside solid black rectangular background. "Health" written in white text. Turns red when Health is low. Bar will tween over several frames when a large change in health occurs.
New: Background is a cool white bar with rounded ends and drop shadows. Foreground is identical but uses ImageColor3 to shade the bar green (or red when Health is low). At low health, the right cap of the bar disappears, and the centre part extends to take its place. This looks kind of bad when a small change in health transitions across this threshold.
Personally I'm indifferent with the new look, but the repositioning of the chat is a minor inconvenience and the new CoreScripts/HealthScript seems kind of rushed. In fact, I've copied the new health bar and written my own script that adjusts the width of the bar, and looks better than the official version (there are no abrupt changes to the bar other than the color transition - in my version I abuse ImageRectOffset and ImageRectSize on the bar to make the transition smoother when the bar is almost empty). |

| I'm not usually a "Stop Updates" bandwagoner but I think they could have done a better job in making it more dynamic. This menu is boring and looks like a user created soemthing. Plus chats are blurry. |

| I don't really enjoy the new interface. I got used to the previous one a long time ago and changing it to something very simple and clean isn't a preference I had in mind. Also, you could barely tell the Health bar was a health bar and the backpack slots were overlapping. |

New > Old.
It's called changing and adapting. Get used to it.

| Yeah, the menus are kind of plain, although they might be going for that kind of style, and it's not particularly awful. They just need to work on the new health bar code a bit. |

| @wall142 yeah I'm more used to the old UI myself but on the other hand I don't find the new UI too bad overall. Overlapping backpack slots are kind of okay but I can see why you don't like it (since you're just overlapping squares, you basically end up with a rectangle with stripes of alternating transparency). New health can be a bit more difficult to see than the previous one, and it now lacks a label. Also, it's harder to notice when the new health bar changes versus the old one (at least before it turns to red). Someone could gradually drop you to half health and you could easily miss it. |

The new one is much better, but the health bar might as well be invisible on the new one.
A simple way to fix that would be to make the part of the health bar that shows up your damaged a bright color, like red. |

Someone complains about every single update there is. Thats the pathetic part about roblox players. Its not that bad at all. If you don't like it figure out how to change it back threw the files on your computer. Its not bad at all. Roblox needs to constantly evolve and update. Its a business not a nostalgia pack meant for people to hold on to like a addict. Let it go people against it.
Also for the Tl;dr'ers. Just gtfo of the forums. Its called scan reading. I learned it when I was in grade 1. All you do is scan your eyes threw a couple sentences and understand the whole thing. Just pathetic. Why be on a reading section of the site when you can't read 3-4 paragraphs. |
