My mum wanted to learn Greek because she likes Greece and thinks it would be a good vacation destination. I gave her a Cyprus travel book and told her there were Greek phrases she should review on the last pages.
Two days after, she went on the internet to learn it. She said there was something wrong with it though. I went over to look. I don't know what could be wrong with it? She said it was in the wrong language. She couldn't understand the Greek alphabet and, after a while, she said that the audio provided wasn't the language she was learning. I had no idea what she was talking about.
I checked the book again... I showed her the page with Greek on it. Well, uh, she learned Turkish instead and never realized it... the Greek phrases were on the pages before that, and she completely missed it. I guess she skipped over "English-Turkish Phrase Book" at the top of the page.
Oh my hell, that was funny. |

Go north, there's plenty of war, fighting, and division to see.
Or your mom could just "actually" learn Greek. |
