Ive been busy creating a game, that im hoping, will stay on the top 10 front page for at least 3 days (this is my target). This is going to be my first proper game, i have made many models and maps for people, but i don't have much scripting experience (hoping for Bloxuniversity to fill me with scripting knowledge) , so my idea is this:
An adventure obby.
Now i know your probably thinking "Not another obby!" but im planning to add loads more features into it, so it'll feel more like an adventure rather than just obby stages. Im planning to add scripting to the obstacles people face so that it'll be more exiting and fun and ill add lots of textures and colors to make it feel polished. It will also have a storyline to it.
So overall, how well would you rate the game concept? |

I rate it obby/10.
You can't "Re invent" an obby. It'll always be the same. Stupid trope after stupid trope. Yours will be no different.
I do logic every not at all. |

| Quite good, I had an idea similar for Quest Of ROBLOXIA, but I guess I never came to it. Basiccaly the Guests were taking over the world and you have to save it by defeating Guest 1337. Feel free to use my idea. |

I love obbies. When I joined there were a lot of obbies and tycoons; I still love to play them.
Add badges and you get a 10/10. |

@Crazy
Your forgetting that there are a load of obbies out there, some of them still sitting on the front page today. I still want to stress that this is a lot more of an adventure game, but it has the structure similar to an obby. Your not giving reasons to your points, so your building a house with no foundations. Please remember to back up your points - saying "obbies are all the same - yours will be no different" doesn't mean anything unless you back it up.
Why do some people always forget this when making a point? |
