1) It's not against any mentioned rule for the thread, and I'm pretty sure this was designed for all types of rp. The admins do nothing to delete those threads so obviously they're ok with their existence here.
2) The other subforums redirect them here because rping really makes no sense on those subforums.
3) What purpose is really achieved by yelling at them? It just bumps the thread, giving it more front time on the front page. If you really, personally don't like it, ignore it. They still keep coming.
4) As a clarification, this does not mean you can't redirect people who advertise their place/place development here. That actually does belong on script help or whatever fugging forum they post that shiz on. But if they refuse, can we still agree just to ignore them so it's not bumped to the front page longer than it should be? |

Sure, why not? I've previously never done it before, though. I was just looking at the entertaining flame wars on the thread. |

I'm not shouting at them.
I'm merely telling them to exit the awesome hotel of RP. |

Well stop.
You're actually misdirecting them.
Refer to like, the first 3 points here please. |

1. It actually doesn't belong here, the rules are clear. This is only for stories and post by post RPing. And regardless, beats yelling at each other.
2. And we can keep redirecting.
3. The point is we can make them look like fools and not post here again which is good, and let off steam. I remember the last time someone proposed this, didn't last long, and actually ended up breaking into a flame war of pretty good proportions. |

"This forum is for posting fictional stories involving your characters, and for role-playing out a scenario with other players. You can post pretty much any story or role-play imaginable, as long as it doesn’t go against the rules of ROBLOX."
Read that please and tell me where it says it's not for group rps or place rps because no, it's actually very short and vague. Fictional stories involving one'es characters and rping with others falls under A LOT of categories, including place and group rps.
If they intended it to be JUST for forum based rps, it would have been explicityle mentioned and the posts would be content deleted by admins as off topic or posts that don't belong in certain subthreads ARE in fact deleted by admins when they legitamtely don't belong. |

Not to mention there are instances where group rpers posting in C&G have gotten their posts content deleted.
I used to C&G a lot and have seen this happen. |

It says to post stories and roleplaying, but it doesn't say it's OK to dedicate entire posts to cruddy bios. Or just ... bios in general. This forum ain't for bios, it's for roleplaying and story-writing. The only bios that should be here arethe ones in relation to living RPs or stories, and on the thread, too. Bios for place RPs don't belong here. They don't belong in ANY forum. |

The only reason [that I can find] that people are yelling at the group/place RPers is that it looks out of place [and thus stupid] and clogs up the forums with useless characters that have no relevance to anything and will never be seen again, ever.

| Purring, at the same time it also doesn't explicitly ban it because that is technically "A story about your character" and follows that sect of the rule perfectly. |

Read that again until you understand. If you still don't, keep reading. |

Yes Riku, but it belongs here as it really does not belong anywhere else.
Those threads are content deleted on C&G if the players go ahead and report it. |

Cyantic... I do understand perfectly.
That is a VERY vague rule.
It does not specifically point out any one kind of rping.
Please copy and paste a section of the rules where it specifically points out a type of rp we're not allowed to post here and then you'll have a point.
And we seem to be continuously forgetting that the admins have no problem with the forum's existance here and obviously view it as within the forum's guidelines. Kind of confirming what I am saying and Reece's very vague rule guide. |

Purring no.
Admins are actually very good about content deleting those.
We don't see it often here because not much is posted here that needs to be content deleted. But when it is, it does get content deleted.
Want proof? Look at some of Tim's and soards arguements or spend some time in other subforums. Admins are actually good about enforcing the rules. |

In C&G for example, things are content deleted A LOT when they're off topic.

Only weak people yell at the group/place RPers. They know the kids can't defend themselves so the idiots here take advantage of that and yell: "BURN IN HELL SCROTE, BURN IN HELL SCROTE, BURN IN HELL SCROTE"
They're trying to make themselves look better and tougher
