They're not bad. Not at all.
They're just different from what we perceive them to be, because we don't live with similar dimensions. A stud is only 0.05 meters, for example.
With the exception of that, the only thing I can really rant about is friction, because ROBLOX does not differentiate between kinetic and static friction coefficients; both coefficients are the same by setting the "Friction" property.

It's sort of bad when you touch a wall and get sent flying backwards 20 studs.
Or when you can let go of a gun while in mid-air, catch it, and act like it's solid for a second to jump again. |

The first issue is a collision detection issue. No, that's not related to physics.

@Yeller The first issue, is a problem with collision detection. The player is pushed 'inside' the object momentarily; this is impossible in the real world since two things can't occupy the same space.
The second issue is that for *some* reason the weapon is not in the position it should be, resulting in weird behavior.

@bohdan
Nah, he's not talking about the moving weapon issue that appears as an example for bug reports on the wiki.
He's talking about events like "RCL jump" and "sword glitching" where you can abuse tools and jump on them, which is indeed still a collision detection issue and not a physics one.

@Unclear yea because the server doesn't weld it quick enough, and allows the humanoid to collision with it. Isn't that the same thing?

No, if I remember correctly those tools are CanCollide = false, and therefore shouldn't be able to be used as surfaces for jumping.
Wouldn't that logically fall under collision detection?
