if you want to do a custom loop water cooling system, i'd advise getting a bigger corsair brand case

it's efficiency

more cleaner energy goes through the power supply if it's graded higher too

broze is going to heat up so much under load, and the fan is going to spin like crazy on that power supply which will give you less power because your power supply now has to spin it's own fan.

o did i mention noise?

and more efficient power supplies can save you money on your electricity bill

basically everything is wrong with it, and I think no one should have it when creating a custom PC

(and all it's heat goes into the case)

my power supply barley spins under 65% load, you can't even hear it

(never got it to 70+%)

Bronze is just fine.
Anything 80+ is fine.
Dans, stop being dumb.
A fan on a PSU will take less than 12W

@poni

lets suppose you have a 500 W power supply, a system that pulls 250 W at full load, and is on 8 hour a day running at full load all the time(unrealistic but makes for much easier math), that puts your PSU at 50% load so its going to be at peak efficiency.

Power drawn from the wall:
Basic (most pre-build PCs have this) - 312.5 W
Bronze - 304.9 W
Silver - 294.1 W
Gold - 277.8 W
Platinum - 271.7 W

so no.

ur wrong, poni

electricity is really cheap here, but will probably be one of the few cheap services here later :\

Also, there's 80+ Plus Titanium now.

"80 Plus Titanium is a newer addition to the 80 Plus, derived from server requirements and first realised back in 2012. As with all 80 Plus specifications, it requires a specific efficiency at 20%, 50% and 100% loading (it can be any efficiency in between these values), although Titanium also adds an element for 10% loading. For the AX1500i, this means a minimum efficiency rating of 90/92/94/90% for 10/20/50/100% loading in the 110-120V regions and 90/94/96/91% for 220V+ regions."

On the other hand, I'm left-handed.
