--[STORY]--
In the centre of a large forest in the Karom Kingdom lies a large cliff. A waterfall crashes down this cliff, collecting into a large lake below. Around, and indeed on top of, this lake lies an enormous, beautiful city - The Citadel. This is home to many people of many talents but that is not its main purpose. Within the Citadel is the entrance to the Sacred Spring, a place hundreds come to see every year to receive blessings from the Ancient Ones. For years, people continued to enter the spring and return stronger than before. But one day, someone went in and never came out. It was months before another dared to enter, but they they came back a little queasy but very much alive and healthy. This person, the wizard Zarendell, soon became a hero and he made the spring popular again. Since then, the spring hasn't been as popular but still frequently visited.
--[YOU]--
You are a traveller who seeks the blessings of the Ancient Ones on your journey and so the are travelling to the Citadel to visit the Sacred Spring. You, like everyone else, have almost completely put the accident behind you and do not think there could be any danger in visiting the spring. But first thing's first, you need to get established in the Citadel.
--[THE CITADEL]--
Here is a list of notable places in the Citadel:
-[Jagged Cliff]- The entrance to the Sacred Spring lies atop this cliff. So, all travellers seeking the blessings of the Ancient Ones must first scale the very rocky and treacherous cliff side.
-[The Great Cascade]- This incredibly high waterfall flows right from the the top of Jagged Cliff and comes crashing into Sapphire Lake. Its tremendous force is too much for anyone to brave it.
-[Sapphire Lake]- This large, bright blue lake lies beneath the Great Cascade and is right at the centre of the Citadel. It's water is completely clean and pure and so many use it for bathing or swimming.
-[The Cavern Tavern]- At the bottom of the Great Cascade, an archway keeps the thundering water off of a walkway. Across this walkway is the Cavern Tavern, a large Tavern carved right into the face of Jagged Cliff. All who come to the Citadel visit the Cavern Tavern at least once during their stay and so it is the main social spot of the Citadel.
-[Three Arrows Inn]- This inn is not the best place ever to stay but its prices are very reasonable and it is always very busy. Plus, it even has its own restaurant and bar.
-[Grandiose Hotel]- A very expensive but very high class hotel. It includes everything a person could ask for, from room service to a hot tub.
-[Haramor Palace]- This is an extremely large and extravagant palace and is the largest building in the Citadel. It is home to the royal family of the Karom Kingdom who are very secluded and hardly ever leave the palace.
-[The Guard Academy]- This is where all the knights and guards of the Citadel are trained and taught in the ways of the warrior. Not many outsiders have ever been invited inside and it is commanded by an incredibly strict Guardmaster, Guardmaster Grubley.
-[The Guild]- Adventurers come here to set up parties with fellow explorers for adventuring. Recently, it has not been getting much use.
-[Shorok Market]- Need any supplies, texts, armour, weapons - anything, really? Then you can find it at one stall or another in this massive public market.
-[Sacred Spring]- This is where travellers come to receive blessings from the Ancient Ones. The entrance lies atop Jagged Cliff and it is said to be a beautiful place of wonders and amazement.
-[The Walkways]- These beautiful wooden walkways run across Sapphire Lake. Many choose to wander them for the incredible views of the lake and Jagged Cliff.
--[CLASSES]--
Here are the classes you can be:
-[Paladin]- These knights wear gold and white armour to show their allegiance to light and the greater good. They carry a sword and shield into battle and can command the light against their foes to some extent.
-[Mage]- Masters of the art of magic, mages can use a wide variety of spells and tricks to aid or hinder. However, they cannot control darkness as it can overpower them much easier than it can anyone else.
-[Alchemist]- A kind of wizard that can use the magic of one element to their advantage, though this is not their only method of attack. They specialise in potions and brews and can make them do just about anything.
-[Warrior]- They wear some armour and use a sword, spear or axe as a weapon. Very rarely will a warrior be able to use any magic, so they rely on brute strength and tactics to defeat their opponents.
-[Ranger]- Armed with a fearsome longbow, a wide variety of arrows and 5 small daggers, rangers are quite frightening to meet. They are usually very agile and cunning and nothing escapes them.
-[Priest]- They can use magic to either protect their allies or heal almost any wound, but not so much for attacking. They have a hard-hitting staff but rely on others to attack whilst they assist them.
--[RACES]--
Here are the races you can be:
-[Human]- The original founders and settlers of the Citadel were humans, and anyone of any importance still is. They are quite average ability-wise but can be a little foolish and persuadable at times.
-[Elf]- They are very wise creatures and live long lives. Although not really warriors, they will defend themselves and their allies if need be. They are also very fast and agile but lack in strength.
-[Dwarf]- Small but extremely hardy creatures. They can take a lot of blows and also deal a lot of damage in a short space of time. However, their small stature really reduces their speed and agility and they are usually overconfident and selfish.
-[Lizaardren]- These creatures are half human, half lizard. Their strong scales protect them and they are very fast and strong. However, they have a tail instead of legs and so aren't very agile. Sometimes, they can forget whose side they're really on.
--[RULES]--
- No godmodding, meta gaming, etc. - No swearing or rude language. - What an admin says goes. - You can't be OP and always win every time etc. - Respect others and go with what they say. - If you read everything, add 'Wizard' into the 'Other' section of your CS. - I can change or add rules at any time or kick you from the RP if need be.

-[Althalos]- I wake up in the room I'm renting in the Grandiose Hotel and walk over to the wide balcony overlooking Sapphire Lake. I breathe in the warm morning air as I watch children splashing and having fun below me. Today is the day that I am visiting the Guild, I decide.
-[Ilarya]- (Declined - add the other section of your CS and you'll be accepted.)
-[Gulfur]- (Accepted)
You are walking down the road that you know will soon lead you to the Citadel and have been walking all night and part of the day. Trees line the passage on both sides. A minute later, you see a grand city rising up from the horizon. Beautiful stone walls surrounding it, full of buildings of all shapes and sizes - it's the Citadel.
-[Markkus]- (Accepted)
You wake up from a deep sleep wondering where you are, then you remember. You slept in an inn on the side of the road for the night. Still half asleep, you stumble out of bed and look round at the tiny room you're in. You want to get out of here and get to the Citadel.
-[Ruesth]- (Accepted)
You are strolling through the dense forest, going at your own pace, admiring the disorder of the trees with their strange, warped shapes. Although you can't yet see it you can sense that you're nearly at the Citadel.
(Note: I forgot to add it to the CS, if you're an alchemist please can you specify which one of the four elements you can control.) |

[Name] Leondo Berthart
[Race] Human
[Age] 19
[Class] Paladin
[Personality] He is an energetic person, yet calls himself brash and cocky. He is also adventurous and he will do anything to gain a certain reward. At times, he can be really disrespectful, mostly on the royalty, but not the princesses, for he is somehow a 'princess lover'.
[Appearance] He appeared to be 6'0 in height, has lean muscles, and he has normally pale skin. He has red spiky hair and red eyes. His clothing looks kinda similar to either a mage or alchemist. He wears a golden headgear with a ruby on the middle, a white long sleeved shirt underneath his golden armor with two rubies on each side of the spaudlers, golden fingerless gauntlets, a golden belt, white pants, and golden boots. He even has a golden loincloth from neck to bottom. [Background] It is unknown if he has a past, some say that he is born from a human king and a elven queen, but for him, he believed that he is born from a normal human family. During the years, he was able to practice the sword and was able to master light magic. Frequently, every time he goes out, he usually goes to an elven kingdom and court a princess there. As his time comes, he thinks that its time to do some adventuring, that is why he left his home to go out and explore the world. By the way, along the way, he was able to create and master a martial art that is compatible to his light magic. He calls this martial art as 'Kei Ken'(軽拳, Lightness Fist).
[Inventory] A golden broadsword, golden bladed shield, some food, his pocket money, and potions.

[Name] Keiro Nexraia [Race] Elf [Age] 26 [Class] Ranger [Personality] Joyful, Adventurous, has high moral, though charges into battle without thinking, which is very un-ranger type. [Appearance] Flowing blond hair, green eyes, light build with a green and white cloak, though sinister looking to strangers because of a hood which mostly shadows his face. Under his cloak he wears normal clothes which has a strap going from the left shoulder across to his waist, and that is where he preferably stores his daggers. [Background] Quite good at archery, but never the best, which led him to visit the Sacred Springs to improve his worth. Also curious about the incident because he has an immensely good memory. -[Althalos]-
I wander into the bathroom and wash myself up quickly. I then head downstairs to the hotel restaurant and sit at a table. After looking at the menu, I order breakfast and wait impatiently.
-[Ruesth]-
The leaves are scattered all around and a few birds fly away, squawking. You smile before continuing on your journey. Soon the wall of the Citadel is just visible.
-[Markkus]-
After a few minutes of walking, the great wall of the Citadel is right in front of you. You spy a dwarf talking with the guard of the gate and wait for him to finish so you can be let in. Although you don't know it, this is Gulfur.
-[Gulfur]-
Soon you reach the Citadel and the great gate that bars your way in stands above you. You head over to the guard manning the gate and start asking to be let in.
-[Keira]-
In only a few minutes, you arrive at the edge of the tree line and see an enormous gate rearing up above you. You see a dwarf talking to the guard and a human waiting behind him. You don't know that these are Gulfur and Markkus.
-[Leondo]-
On the road, you pass by an old, tiny inn. It seems deserted and you speed up as you go by. A few minutes later, the skyline of the Citadel rises up above the horizon. Three tiny figures stand by the city gate. |

[Name] Eliza Gray
[Race] Human
[Age] 26
[Class] Warrior
[Personality] Eliza is generally a kind and sympathetic person, who will try to protect her friends no matter what the cost. However, she favours helping women over men and would much rather save any woman's life than a man's.
She believes men to be rather selfish and crude, and this ignorance often blinds her from helping the right people.
Eliza is also quite brave and will rush into battle if necessary (although she knows her boundaries and will only fight if she knows she can win).
[Appearance] Eliza has bright strawberry blonde hair, silky to touch and short enough that it only just falls past her ears. She wears light leather armour so she can move quickly with her sword, believing heavy metal armour to be a burden rather than a help. Her body is quite an athletic build and she has rosy red cheeks.
[Background] Eliza was born into a high born family and was showered with riches since she was young. Although her father wanted her to be a traditional lady and marry a lord and have children, Eliza was more independent and always wanted to be a female knight (although she had no idea that this was most likely impossible). She used her money to buy training behind her father's back and quickly became an efficient swordsman.
When at a tavern one day, Eliza met a beautiful woman named Jeanette. After becoming friends and spending lots of time together, they became lovers and Jeanette gave her a gorgeous ruby amulet. This was much to Eliza's father's disapproval and he forbid her to keep seeing Jeanette due to the shame it could bring on their family. Eliza ignored his warnings, resulting in being disowned. Her father took the amulet from her and kicked her from his house. Jeanette's family also found out and sent her far away so that the two could never see each other again.
Enraged, Eliza broke into her old home and killed her father's men. He pleaded for his life and promised to accept her back into his family if she let him live. Eliza considered this for a short while, until she saw the amulet Jeanette gave her hanging out of her father's pocket. Angrily, Eliza shouted the words, "there won't be a family to go back to!" and slit his throat.
Ever since, Eliza has been earning a living through mercenary work and tutoring sword craft (although her gender puts people off).
[Inventory] A sharp one handed sword and Jeanette's amulet around her neck.
