Yes, limit free models used in a place. I feel that lots of popular games, like copied town of robloxias, make a bad impression on ROBLOX and the way newcomers view it. Let's be honest, juliuscole's games are basically littered with free models and made entirely of them. I think that more original content should be produced to make roblox a better experience.
If roblox were to think of doing this, I suggest that there should be a counter system that only lets you use a certain amount of free models in a game, like 20 or something, to try and encourage productivity in roblox games.
Yes, I've also thought about the group aspect and things of that nature when people make guns or bases for groups and give them to people. But still, it would help people be more creative in roblox and kind of force them to generate their own content so they can explore and use studio a proper way.

Yes, there should be a limit for models placed in GAMES, but there is nothing wrong in studying them. You would just have a limit and be told the error AFTER you save the game.

| Yes that is a good idea, especially for people learning how to script or build effectively for the first time |

No. That limits the creativity of those aren't skilled builders.

I see loopholes. A lot of free-modeled games are all one giant model. The only solution I could see to that is that ROBLOX puts a limit as to how many parts can be in a model, but with the new CSG update I could see that being a problem. |

@Black
I have agreed that allowing people to experiment with them in studio is a good thing, but not allowing them to save it so that they don't make a game only comprised of free models |

| To be honest, I don't see anything wrong with having a game that is entirely free models as long as you don't claim that you made them. |

The best idea:
Next to your game, it should say how many free models you used, near the visits and all that :o |

That would be insanely hard to track. It would be hard to tell the difference between an original model and a free model and its duplicates. |

| Aren't free models there to be used as open-sourced, user-made items to be put in a game for something that you don't know how to do? |

From my point of view i see that free models are there for a reason such as if you don't know how to make admin or a tree house or a package hats etc etc etc. But if you start using them in every game you make and then start making games from them then it's not a good idea because you really didn't do any of the work so heres the simple version
There for a reason don't abuse them if you don't know how to build something use it |

If you do not like free model games, then don't play those kinds of games. And no, users should be able to put as much free models as they want to explore more of it.

@Maxjelly
The problem is, other new players are probably not aware what free models are when they first join, and play the FM'd games till they're onto the front page.
Then, it eventually goes dead and the cycle continues.
Why do you think there are so many newbs in Different Town of ROBLOXia or some other game related?
Its a shame that the kids of our generation are so stupid sometimes :( |

1. So many loopholes. SO MANY LOOOPHOOOOLES 2. It limits people's creativity and the study of other people's models and scripts and learning from them, face it, almost everybody has at least used more than 20 free models. 3. Free Models are free, they aren't limited or money costing, FREE. |

How about just remove eligibility for front page if you have too many?

there's a fix for this, look at the first post of this thread.

if users want to explore with it then they can look in play mode without saving. and you do realize how many people haven't even gotten credit for their free models? im pretty sure the top free model seller doesn't even have 10 people that use his/her credit.
