All Royal Marines, regardless of rank MUST have the correct uniform and headgear on at all times. • Proper Headgear: - The Royal Marines top hat is for all ranks from Private to Captain General. - The Royal Marines pith helm is to be worn by Royal Marines of the rank Ensign or higher, it is not mandatory but is optional. - The Royal Marines bicorn is to be worn by Royal Marines of the rank Ensign or higher, as is the pith helm, it is not mandatory except when in full dress. • Full Military Dress: - When in Royal Marine full military dress, you must be wearing your uniform, with the proper headgear (As you would on any day) but you must wear any medals or awards awarded to you. - NOTE: IF YOU COPY AND AWARDS THAT WERE NOT AWARDED TO YOU, YOU WILL BE DEMOTED OR EXILED. • T-shirts and medals: - Royal Marines must not wear t-shirts that have nothing to do with The Royal Marines. If it’s not a special medal awarded to you, for example bandages, you will be warned and demoted. • Weaponry: - Royal Marines must have his or her cutlass sheathed at all times, there is no excuse other than not having a cutlass. - Royal Marines NEVER shoulder their muskets; they ALWAYS port their muskets. - Royal Marines are not to abuse or miss-use their [Non-Shrapnel] grenades or their grapple hooks. |
