| When I look at the backs of them, all I see are pieces of the book that tell you absolutely nothing about the book itself. Like, seriously, do I have to look at the inner flaps of the book just to know what it's about?!!! That's what the BACK is for! |

What is? I am a white girl and I definitely don't popularize any books, though there will be a movie made of T.A. Barron's Merlin book (read it in 4th) which will be super super great. :') |

| And there's like 20 title pages which contain useless information about the author. |

Yah, exactly! I went to Barnes & Noble's yesterday and any book that had that stuff on the back repelled me. |

80 pages of what? And I kinda know how you feel with god-awful school books, I propped my summer book today at like 2 AM and was depressed by the time I reached the 11th page.
"And there's like 20 title pages which contain useless information about the author."
Yah, exactly. I don't remember this ever happening until recently. I hope this whole "book fad" dies off soon, because it ruins the book. |

"the inner flaps are only on hardback books?"
Yah, but a lot of the books are hard-covered, so... |

Most of the new books that come out are hard-covered for some reason, so a vast majority of the books I have are hard-covered... |

That's only for the pre-teen and teen books
and those are for squares, and I am clearly a circle.
But in all my Simon R. Green novels he lays out the entire story, the main charicter and everything you need to know on the back. |

*looks at T.A. Barron's books* No, it's only for crappy books whose authors can't be bothered to put things of ACTUAL IMPORTANCE where they're SUPPOSED TO BE. |

Well, in my eyes it has always been no back = no buy.
Backs of books and video games, along with movies should provide information about the actual product, rather than advertisements and privacy policies.
So yeah, I agree.

sometimes I read books without reading the back cover it's so I won't be expecting anything before I read the book
beside I forget about the summary on the back as soon as I read the book >.> |
