I say 4 with this one being the 4th one (it wouldn't be in my book a rowar though)

HISTORY LESSON TIME WOOO
Okay, so the history of Ro-Wars is really muddled because after the first one, they got popular. Ro-War is and will always be a buzz word used to generate hype - and it's so overused that nobody really believes in the term anymore.
The history of big clans fighting with allies? Gotta go back to the first war in clan history, Elite Wing vs SWARM, ended in the middle of 08 (I was just a nooby cadet in EW at the time. Never saw much action.) in EW's favor. The actual events are muddled, but further down the line, one of SWARM's old contacts, the Orglock Empire, declares war on EW (I actually recall the forum message that was posted on EW's offsite forum. Something to the effect of "I am one of Sorlor's minions and I am here to declare war." It was terrifying because the forum was usually secret.)
Anyway, war happens, and lots of allies get involved. It's primarily sci-fi clans, of course. The conflict stretches into multiple wars that pretty much define the era (for me and the people involved in them) and they were dubbed the Galactic Wars.
Then comes the group update, early-mid 09.
Mass recruiting becomes a thing. A dumb, horrible thing, but a thin. Previously, it was about skill, tactics, and with winning the war, but now with mass-tracking group members and wall posts, numbers were the advantage.
The first Ro-War was between the x101st and what I'll simply call the Allies. There was no leading force of the opposition, though EW was at the head and was one of the bigger players in it.
It was a really big war. Saw the introduction to the raiding system we use today, with the popularity of x101st's Recruitment Center.
They were actual raids, too. Covert-ops stuff. A few good soldiers would sneak into the gun area, camp it, and call in reinforcements to take the server and mow down any x101st that tried to get in. Massive attacks were rare.
That was the first and only Ro-War. Even then, it took a while for people to call it a Ro-War, because it sounded so much like are92's rowar stuff. I was actually one of the primary detractors of the term then, and I still am today.
Since then, there have been big wars, but every one of them gets labeled a Ro-War by fanatics. There's no official record. Therefore there's only been one Ro-War.

HeroMaster comes in with the beautiful, awe-inspiring smackdown post.
I'd call it at one.
The rest is just pointless hype trains. |

the current war isnt a rowar lol
get the top caliber clans to participate in it then it might be
for now its just another attempt that's failed to attract the appropriate clans to it

1 official rowar, 3 hype train wars that were organized way too much to be even considered a rowar. you don't organize a rowar, it just happens by itself.
Oi, is that a biscuit? |

Presumably because of the WCoR Rowar.
I still stand by my statement as usual. |

For some reason roblox does not like my reply and I can't figure out why, so I'll simplify what I said in iit:
1) I didn't say it wasn't a rowar, I said that the term "rowar" is made meaningless by overuse and misuse
2) GSC v UN was fantastic and is a perfect representation of what Rowar 2 would've been
3) but the overuse means that you can't specifically number how many Rowars there have been
4) that doesn't mean rowars have not occurred by definition, just that it's near impossible to track how many there've been |
