[Premise] The largest continent within a world that has seen much change, discovery, and adaptation, is absolutely brimming with millions of species that have chosen to thrive here. Known to many as the key to improved ways of life, Cryiutus host a plethora of things to do within its many locations.
One of the most diverse continents on the vast world of Archage, Cryiutus is a place filled with great history, knowledge, and enlightenment. Filled with adventure and discovery, many will find their paths in this massive realm.
With freedom reaching no bounds, Cryiutus is indeed a dangerous place. Though teeming with majestic landmarks, factions of all sorts are known to be within Cryiutus. At the same time, the many tiers of magic have created forces unable to be controlled, along with transformations and corruption that hasn't been quite understood.
But as always, we must thrive. There's going to be wars, there will be adversity, people will die, locations may be damaged in the process. But this is the life that comes within the continent of Cryiutus. Something that must be accepted for those who wish to reside in the vast world of Cryiutus, to delight in its many beauties, and to discover truly unique opportunities.
[Main Locations] Thunder Cross: One of the main humankind kingdoms, Thunder Cross is home to an array of humans and mystical species that the humans have allied with. It is home to one of the strongest human guilds on Cryiutus, whose goals are to preserve the balance between each mystic creature. Thunder Cross is one of the first places that was built upon Cryiutus, and one of the oldest kingdoms within it. Within this kingdom are several human towns, and lush forest that are filled with many creatures.
The Elven Kingdom: As the name may suggest, The Elven Lands is the divided home to several types of elves. High Elves, Dusk Elves, Dawning Elves, you name it. The reason this kingdom is divided is because specific types of elves prefer to live in their own secluded locations within this massive land. In one part of the Elven Lands, you may find that the location looks rather bright, and seems to contain some unknown magic. In another part of the Elven Lands, it may seem that the nature elements seem to flow through the forests here...
Spectomia: Spectomia, as the name may suggest, is home to an array of undead creatures. Though this isn't the only place where these creatures reside, it is known as one of the places that has been greatly corrupted by dark magic, magic that seems irreversible. Spectomia neighbor Thunder Cross, and is a place where few dare to go... lest they be killed and possibly devoured by these cryptic creatures...
The Scarred Lands: There are multiple places that are brimming with undead creatures. The Scarred Lands are absolutely filled with corruption. There is corruption within the forests, even corruption within the animals around here. The undead that reside here are said to be extremely wild, and will attack whoever they please, even if it just so happens to be their own kind. Only the bravest of warriors choose to travel through the Scarred Lands...
Anamor: This is where a large number of beings reside, here in the city of Anamor. Anamor is a very busy city, and is very convenient to those who choose to travel here. It has many vessels and such that allow people to travel to different locations, as well as places where people can simply use portals to travel to the locations they so choose. There are many activities and opportunities to do within Anamor, making it a place where a vast amount of mystics choose to stay.
The Scorching Desert: Perhaps the most cryptic location within Cryiutus is the Realmscar. Located in the Scorching Deserts, where many demonic creatures and travelers reside, there is a massive portal, constantly open, unleashing endless amounts of demonic forces. It is said that the Netherworld is through the portal, hence why it seems to unleash demons all of the time.
The Netherworld: The Netherworld is the location filled with the highest number of demons. Corruption flows through the very atmosphere within this realm, and this is home to the cults that feed off of the demonic power within this place. Regular mortals would die here in mere minutes...
Frodaeron: The biting, icy lands of Cryiutus, Frodaeron is home to creatures who prefer to live in great seclusion, or merely beings who appreciate the immense chill throughout this land. One of the main places where undead creatures and certain elementals roam, Frodaeron holds many secrets...
[Main Factions] The Inferno Legion: The head cult that controls certain territories within the Netherworld, the Inferno Legion was founded by the bloodthirsty titan, Triutus, who would use the Inferno Legion to cleanse Archage of its 'unworthy' specimen. Those that follow this faction have usually been corrupted by the demonic power.
The Dark Forces: Once apart of the Inferno Legion, The Dark Forces broke off after its leader betrayed the Inferno Legion due to having goals of his own. The Dark Forces consist of creatures who have been reborn in the form of death, aka undead specimen. Its goals include spreading its reign throughout Archrage, particularly Cryiutus.
The Dishonored: Consisting of beings who had broken away from the control of either the Dark Forces or the Inferno Legion, the Dishonored seek vengeance in the name of their former selves, due to now being transformed from what they once were. Valiant warriors they are, but at the same time, misguided...
Unified Coalition: In direct opposition of the Warfare Crusade, The Unified Coalition seeks to set the world back on a path to its natural states, looking to cleanse corruption from its roots, and to chastise those who use the ways of magic in forms abnormal to nature.
Warfare Crusade: In direct opposition of the Unified Coalition, The Warfare Crusade has the goal of using magic to better themselves and the people within it, whether or not it goes against nature. Though not particularly 'evil', the Warfare Crusade has harsher and more militaristic views of the world.
[Rules] . No Godmodding: Instantly completing task that could be reasonably stopped by another player.
. No Powerplaying: Controlling another person's character without PM or thread permission from that player.
. No constant No-Selling: When you always and repeatedly dodge a character's attack. Yes, you decide the outcome of what happens to your character after and attack, but ALWAYS dodging attacks without a logical explanation isn't fair for the other player.
. Put 'Blood and Thunder' in the 'Others' part of your CS if you read the rules, or else you won't be accepted.
. If you wish to create your own faction, have an idea, or want to cause large scale destruction, PM me first.
. This RP was inspired by World of Warcraft, and assimilated using ideas from Aetheroth and Universal Rift, and adding entirely new ideas.
. You aren't necessarily required to become apart of a faction, though it is wise to do so, as rogues are generally considered neutral or rejects to certain factions.
. Less important factions will be introduced later on during the RPG. For now, just be content with the main factions.
. Admins can be selected as the roleplay progresses. Just be a good and active roleplayer.
[Character Sheet] Name: Age: Gender: Species: Appearance: Clothing: Biography: Alignment: Faction (Not Required): Other: Inventory: Personality:
[Alignments] -Lawful Good: A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished.
-Neutral Good: A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them.
-Chaotic Good: A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society.
-Lawful Neutral: A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs her. Order and organization are paramount to her. She may believe in personal order and live by a code or standard, or she may believe in order for all and favor a strong, organized government.
-True Neutral: A neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. She doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil-after all, she would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, she's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way.
-Chaotic Neutral: A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it.
-Lawful Evil: A lawful evil villain methodically takes what he wants within the limits of his code of conduct without regard for whom it hurts. He cares about tradition, loyalty, and order but not about freedom, dignity, or life. He plays by the rules but without mercy or compassion. He is comfortable in a hierarchy and would like to rule, but is willing to serve. He condemns others not according to their actions but according to race, religion, homeland, or social rank. He is loath to break laws or promises.
-Neutral Evil: A neutral evil villain does whatever she can get away with. She is out for herself, pure and simple. She sheds no tears for those she kills, whether for profit, sport, or convenience. She has no love of order and holds no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make her any better or more noble. On the other hand, she doesn't have the restless nature or love of conflict that a chaotic evil villain has.
-Chaotic Evil: A chaotic evil character does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If he is simply out for whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal. If he is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, he is even worse. Thankfully, his plans are haphazard, and any groups he joins or forms are poorly organized. Typically, chaotic evil people can be made to work together only by force, and their leader lasts only as long as he can thwart attempts to topple or assassinate him. |

[Recent Events]
The Rise of Wolven: In a surprising turn of events for people living in the small town known as Tricorn, a spread of the monstrous transformation into a humanoid wolf-like beast known as 'Wolvens' has doubled recently, most likely due to the increasing Wolven raids upon this town and the villages around it. People are warned to be very vigilant of any citizens acting particularly strange, as some Wolvens are known to remain in a crazed state of human form before fully transforming.
Tarkosh, New War Commander of WFC: After weeks of finding a suitable War Commander for the Warfare Crusade, Tarkosh, a notable Orcarian (Orc for short) warrior within the many ranks of WFC, has risen to being the War Commander of the the crusade. So far, his tactics and command boards have been useful in expanding WFC into more territory. But only time will tell if he will remain a suitable War Commander for the people of the crusade. |

[Character Sheet] Name: Tarkosh Age: 500 Gender: Male Species: Orcarian Appearance: Tarkosh stands at about 6'8, weighs 304 Ibs, and is very muscular-large. He has blood red eyes, and his skin is reddish orange in color, with several markings branded on his arms. Clothing: He usually wears heavy silver and grey armoring over his body, crafted with material known as 'Infernium'.
Biography: Tarkosh quickly rose through the ranks within his faction, mostly with his enormous battle prowess and great thirst to prove himself. He was one of those warriors that truly cared about the betterment of the Crusade, rather than just being able to slay other creatures and gain a little knowledge. This, along with the fact that he had aided in numerous battles for WFC, allowed him to rise to War Commander. Though he has been very useful in expanding WFC into new territory, one of the things that holds him back is his impatience and rage. However, his cunning and intellect has allowed him to figure out schemes being planned by enemies and less trusted allies.
Alignment: Chaotic Good (WFC), Chaotic Evil (In the Coalitions view) Faction (Not Required): The Warfare Crusade Other: "Blood and Thunder!" Inventory: Dual Infernium Axes
Personality: Tarkosh is the brash, arrogant and impatient commander of the Warfare Crusade. Unlike previous commander before him, who possessed full control of their emotions and general peace within themselves, Tarkosh constantly has a boiling temper, along with a slight thirst to slay enemies in battle. He believes that pure ruthlessness is highly honorable within the crusade, and that only the strongest and most ruthless of WFC should be given great honors within the military of WFC. As cold as he may be, he is very intelligent among the Orcarians, one of the reasons that WFC remains such a strong empire (Due to him figuring out what best alliances to have and having a wide array of knowledge on how to lead his people). |

[Character Sheet] Name: Searn Varn Age: 32 Gender: Male Species: Human Appearance: Searn appears to be this world's equivalent of a stereotypical spaniard, with a long face featuring a pointed mustache and goatee. His brown hair combed back, one can very clearly see his pale, hideous blue eyes with a mildly pale skin. He also stands at 6 foot 2, and weighs about 154 pounds. Clothing: His wardrobe contains many clothes, all bearing an air of being really expensive. An occupational hazard, considering his line of work. Biography: Searn grew up near a former battlefield between some faction and the Legion. Growing interested in it, he began to study it to a point he found a contact, and became an initiate for a cult. However, he realized it was truly dangerous, and escaped before the Legion could get around to him. Some ask him what it was like, thought all he says is that he's seen the abyss, and did not want to fall into it. After that close call, he began pointing out key targets to the Coalition, and became interested in military service. He didn't like it, and as thus he was offered a job in the espionage part of the army. His vision messed up by his past, he found that a job scouting and sneaking around enemies was his preferred profession. He has since then been working in it, though his profile is not the cleanest, showing many violations of directions and laws during said missions. Alignment: Chaotic Good Faction (Not Required): Unified Coalition Other: Blood and Thunder Inventory: Dagger, Paper, Pen Personality: Searn's personality is twisted from his childhood, but learning his lesson, he seeks to better himself. However, he thinks that sometimes you gotta break a law or two to do something good. He's been known to steal medicine to give to the poor, or eliminate potential or known threats when it was stated in his directives not to as it might blow his cover. |
