CSG is still in its early stages. "Should help reduce the lag" is an untested hypothesis and people are still reporting massive bugs in the system that would potentially prevent them being useful.
In either case, we learned to avoid lag (most of us, at least. The good builders) by not building brick-heavy guns and instead focusing on aesthetic. |

| Not only will this make guns less laggy, when physics are released, car makers like me and my friend can finally remove lag in our cars due to 600+ brick count :D |

| It doesn't work that well for pre-made models. |

| CSG is pretty great, but I think for most gunmakers it's too new to be sure of. No lagg tests have really been done and there could potentially be many bugs. I think most gunmakers are going to wait until it's more finalized to make the switch. |

For most gun makers they will test it out and send out the basis of it for now. Unclear one of are leading scripters/developers in C&G and Richyard and Thea will all be explaining and helping use once they have understanding of the workings of it correctly so the less developed members understand it.
So you will possibly see it in some of the larger and better groups for now and have more fancy an appealing guns too. |

| This is an unrelated point, but I think CSG just replaces models. Might as well merge if you're going to group it anyways ^.^ |

"Might as well merge if you're going to group it anyways ^.^" Merging things with union is only a good idea when its with parts that have the same transparency, reflection, color, material, and what not. As far as I know; that is. |
