At the very least, given the inability of most of C&G to script and the fact that assigning separate tables for tons of unique data is time-consuming, you'll need at the very least, 3 parts.
1 for the handle at least 1 for the CSG model 1 for the barrel

Wouldn't the point of having 1 brick or in this case 3 bricks lead to only needing to weld the Whole bricks together instead of making 300 bricks get welded together and make sure they don't glitch out etc.
If that makes sense.

the point of the message was to tell people their guns are actually going to be three parts
wow ur so smart!!!
alright but let's be honest that's not much of a difference anyway
and if people were actually referring to the detail and not either of the parts you mentioned then actually it is only, really, one part
so come on keep it real mate |

Okay instead of having 300 bricks, they separate it into 3 whole bricks with CSG as said in your above post
1for handle 1 for CSG and 1 for the barrel
and instead of trying to create a 300 brick gun and having every brick welded now you only have to weld together these three bricks.
Minimizing the amount of welds and bricks that you need to use.

WOW
WELDS. SO DIFFICULT.
If I had to choose between 300 parts or 1, or 300 or 3, I wouldn't care. It's so much better. Also you don't need a part for the barrel.
