I'm trying to make a playerJoined event inside PlayerGui, so when the player joins the game, it will check something. Will PlayerAdded work the same way?

Yea, if I get you right, you want to put:
game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function() end)
in a starter gui, it should work. |

I just added this to the beginning of the script
function immediate() local plr = script.Parent.Parent.Parent if not game.ServerStorage:FindFirstChild(plr.Name) then script.Parent.BR2.TextButton.Visible = true script.Parent.BR2.TextLabel.Visible = true end end
and at the end I added
immediate()
