Hey guys! Before I start, I just wanna say that I have no idea if this is the right place to put this, but I'll take a chance. So I've been looking at some free models and seeing how they were created, when a random question popped up: "How do these guys make these things so detailed!?" I could never figure out how you guys could make that kind of stuff, and I would like to figure it out so I can make my own weapons and stuff for my games. Thank you for taking the time to read this! Any and all answers are appreciated!

It's not just some magical potion you drink, and you can magically be an amazing detailed builder. It takes time, for me, it took years.

It takes years, the best thing to do is use your imagination. ~if you can imagine it, you CAN build it~ |

"Perfect practice makes practice perfect" Keep trying, c-frame, try everything. The more skilled you get, you could end up like Asimo3089.

| Thank you guys for the tips, they'll help a lot! But i was talking more along the lines of those swords and such. Like, how do they make build them as tools? It said to use SpecialMesh thing but I just get a ball. |

It takes lots of work and practice. Keep building and you will learn new techniques. Every so often try to build something very detailed and then criticize it and fix its flaws. You will notice a gradual increase in detail every time if you keep at it.

But please do not think that after a couple builds you will be great. Not at all, years of practice. Try building models for people after you think you are good enough.

As a side note, most people when building weapons make them very large and then use a mini-map script that will size them down to the player's scale.
I was trying to find a video to show you what I mean and the first thing I saw that fit was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQ1CfxqbIMY |

| Get some building tools like CMDult and install it to your roblox studio. Then experiment, experiment, experiment. Practice makes perfect. Minimap scripts are helpful as well. |

| Mini map is a lot harder than the Model Resize plugin. |
