Built a basic rig that could fit underneath the TV to replace my hd7750/core2duo for streaming games and movies, along other uses.
I didn't want to spend too much. So I decided on these specs: Pentium g3220 H81-H MB 4gb ram 1333mhz kingston gtx 750ti cx430w psu gtx 750ti
Only thing I have too say, is it handles all my games that I've thrown at it pretty well at medium/high/ultra. Even on CPU intensive games, it still shines. It is really great value if you were seriously on a tight budget.
I'll be doing a benchmark against my main rig. Although I doubt it won't be much of a difference on the games I play. Also, should I try it at 4k? I mean, I'd love to try that.. even though I know it won't be able too. |

Neat.
I don't need a second PC, so I'm just going to do that FX-8320 GTX 770 (most likely, that's the best card for $250) build.
And On Topic: It's not worth trying at 4K.

@RA2. I was talking about movies, not games. I'm assuming it'd be okay with 4k movies/shows.
As for games, no way. My main rig barely does 4k decently. |

It's not even worth trying 4K on a movie, using a GTX 750 Ti.
Even 2K will probably have a difficult time. But I dunno, I only have a 1080p TV.

@RA Any cpu can do 1080p easily so i dont think 4k would be a haslse with a gpu. |
