Like, if I had a PC that used 450 Watts, do you think I'd be fine with a 500 watt PSU?

| yes but i'd recommend you get more watts just to be safe and plus you wouldn't have much room for an upgrade then |

Yeah. I'm planning on adding a GPU (still on the fence about, but I found a GTX 770 for $250), which adds a major sum of wattage.
I may upgrade to an 80+ Bronze 650W PSU though.

Get a 600-650 watt psu.
I have that motherboard. Just know that motherboard doesn't handle overclocking the cpu well. I have heard it gets hot. |
