1-orchestra, full year, MWF (so i only have a first period class monday, wednesdays and fridays. study hall for tuesdays and thursdays! yay!) 2-accelerated. us 1, full year, MTWRF 3-accelerated probability, statistics, and trig, full year, MTWRF ( n..n..n..no pre cal this year? okay) 4-latin ii, full year, MTWRF A-lunch, semester 1, MTWRF 5-phys ed, semester 1, MTWR most kids get three marking periods of gym, but since i really wanted to take a computer class i'll have to make it up with at least 25 hours of sports 5-computer science, semester 2.
here's where things get tricky
B-lunch, semester 2, MTWRF (so i have a different lunch for the second semester? oh- okay.) 6- accelerated chemistry, full year, MTWRF 7- accelerated enlish 10, full year, W (so I have a random english class on wednesdays out of no where? okay) 7- accelerated chemistry, full year, TR (and i have a random chemistry class on thursdays and fridays? okay) 8- accelerated english 10, full year, MTWRF
aaaand i have to make up for gym quarter 3 through 25 hours of sports, which should be a piece of cake. i also have to make up my driving safety class (it's just reading boring rules and stuff) online.
and all those classes where i don't have a class certain days, i get study halls! yay! so that's a study hall 1st period on tuesdays and thursdays, 5th period on fridays, and 7th period on mondays and tuesdays!
this schedule is a real mess!

The English and chemistry classes might be 1.5 credits instead of 1 credit to accommodate for extra work/labs. My old high school (before I moved to a different school my senior year) did something similar for the sciences and AP Calc BC math classes. We would be on an A/B day schedule (alternates every day), and one day would include an extra period for that science/math class. As a result, instead of the normal 45 minute classes, we would have 90 minutes of science/math on that day.
Have fun with chemistry. It was one of my favorite classes (I took honors chemistry my junior year and AP chemistry my senior year).
From what I remember, my college schedule for the semester looks something like this (nursing major): -Psychology lecture MWF -Biology lecture MWF -Nutrition lecture (would have been general chemistry, but getting a 4 on the AP Chem exam exempted me from taking the class. I am taking a sophomore-year nursing class in its place)MWF -Biology lab M -Morning Nursing lecture Tu Th -Afternoon Nursing lecutre Tu
On the bright side, I only have one class on Thursdays. Those will probably be my "crash at the 24-hour Dunkin Donuts and cram" days. |
