90% of states are like this
atlanta, miami, denver, kansas city (double whammy because it's in both missouri and kansas) |

"atlanta, miami, denver, kansas city (double whammy because it's in both missouri and kansas) "
1. that's not 90% 2. Florida has Orlando, Daytona Beach, the Everglades, the Keys, Disney World, etc. 3. Kansas City is not even the biggest city in Kansas 4. Colorado has Aspen and other winter resorts and a lot of people go there to ski/snowboard/lodge 5. People vacation on the East Coast of Georgia near Savannah, which is why it's borderline |

@rune
1. exaggeration. you being an editor should know what this is 2. every story out of florida has something to do with miami 3. kansas city has two million people in it, but only a small amount on the kansas side. who really cares about wichita? 4. there's also many other things to do in louisiana but apparently new orleans is the only thing there 5. people also do this in illinois, louisiana, maryland, nevada, and massachusettes, but you didn't think about that did you?
also reno is pretty important and in nevada, which is something you forgot about |

1. funny 2. ...not really 3. which is still not on the kansas side of the border 4. actually there really isn't anything else to do in louisiana, i doubt you've been there 5. actually i did. a lot more people have vacation homes in savannah than in maryland and illinois |

How can you NOT count Annapolis?
It's the home of the freaking Naval Academy. |

1. i never learned why you chose to say that. any thoughts on why you lied about your editorial powers?
2. yes really
3. but still represents kansas. tons of people are shocked to learn that kansas city really is in kansas. (and again, who really cares about whicita?)
4. my dad took the family on a trip to new orleans when i was eight. we toured while he did business. baton rouge was more interesting than new orleans
5. do you have research or are you just guessing? and that doesn't negate the fact that people still tour in maryland and illinois.
also washington DC (yes i know technically a state on it's own) is just a stone's throw from baltimore, and most of the metro area falls within maryland? |
