The man looks at you while you describe your allegiance to the Mikalzars.
"Ok, good. Sorry we had to knock you out and put you in a shed. Bevrile's orders. She represents the god of Paranoia, so she tends to be nervous of outsiders, to an extreme. No need to worry though, this town, Okver, is loyal to the Mikalzars. But that is currently irrelevant. I came to wake you up because we're under Vikar attack. You might want to come with me!" says the man, as he opens the door to the shed. The sound of swords clashing rings in your ears. What to do now? |

You try, but then you notice the Vikars seem to retreat from you.
"It's an ascendant!"
"The Ascendant of War!"
"Steady your attack!"
"Looks like you got them riled up," He says to you, "You have to find Brevrile. Most likely the Vikars have her in a death circle, where they surround her and overwhelm her to death. The defense should be able to hold off the bulk of the attack, and when you get her free, the battle is ours." |

| The Ascendant tried to use his power to destroy the bows of the guards, as he hacked and maimed all who moved within the massive range of his blade. [massive range bc large longsword scaled to 20ish foot brute] |

You do that, killing more then the intended amount of Vikars, accidentally cleaving through several unlucky Mikalzars and damaging one house.
It sucks being a giant brute with a longsword, eh? |

| You look around, but you see nothing until you see a failing blue flash that indicates an attempt at magic. Brevrile was probably trying to cast a spell before she was interrupted by a stab or slash. |

| As you do this, you begin to see Brevrile. Bevrile has a body that strikes horror into enemies, with glowing spectral blue hair, transparent blue skin, and a dark, evil looking, black dress, plus she floats. She is the champion of the god of Paranoia after all. She has to look menacing. |

They scramble, though Brevrile gets hit by one, the javelin stuck in the thigh. There are also 4 dead.
"Hold the line!" shouts out a man with the standard plate armor of the soldiers, but there is a gold band inlaid into his helmet and plumage, and bears a ceremonial dagger of a bronze core and blade, but lined with gold at the flat of the blade.
As far as appearance and your knowledge of the Vikar ranking system, this is a captain, the third highest in the system, and the ones who usually organize attacks on small towns. |

(any suggestions on abilities?)
The Ascendant began to glow slightly, injecting his sides soldiers with renewed energy and strength. Words of generals and leaders of the past were heard whispered through the wind. |

(Well, abilities are usually made on your part. I only suggest a spell idea if it seems like something one would obviously have and use. Just don't go over-powered. Only certain extremely deadly NPCs are strong... But you'll have to see how soon...)
"Archers!" cries the captain, "aim to kill!"
You find a large number of arrows being shot at you.
"Hold those off!" Brevrile says, "If I have time, I get lure the captain into a nightmare. It's an advantage..." |

[That's why I wanted to ask, since war is such a large concept with a wide variety of things that one may or may not be able to use]
Vrax raised his hand, redirecting any arrows that would have struck him and Brevrile away, not wanting to use more energy to destroy or redirect every arrow.
He slowly stepped past his own troops and shifted his sword to a giant flail. It had three different chains each attached to a ball looking to be around 1,000 pounds with huge curved spikes jutting out. It wasn't a weapon he typically chose but he was trying to defend while drawing attention.
Vrax swung it across at closest infantry, after spinning it momentarily above his head. He aimed to kill, maim or knock back into others. |

This time, the Mikalzar guards with their light armor dodge the blow, but the Vikars, who wear plate out of ceremony, stand in the fire.
You are seconds away from completion. Everything appears normal. But you can sense it. A worthy foe hiding in the midst of these soldiers. But where?
[I actually leave ideas with multi concepts to the creator. By war it can mean anything from swords and shields to the immoral infamous g3n0c1d3. And about spells being OP, I allow the imagination of the creator to grow, and if something is out of question, I will let them redo it. Of course, upon seeing Vrax's concept, I gave him a neat little "battle sense". It seemed logical he be given the ability to sense the strength of enemies.] |

[Yeah, he's supposed to be the type of fighter one should not be able to defeat in a duel, or atleast not without skill or luck I should say.]
Vrax gazed upon the line of enemy troops, attempting to pick out this true foe. He changed his weapon back to a sword. |

| Looking around left yourself open. You had no time to react as a wave of a black shadow-like substance hits you and the Vikars assisting, remaining all but apathetic to the Mikalzar. You feel a tad bit afraid, perhaps paranoid. You look to the source, a chapel to the Lords. Looking at it makes you hesitant. Whatever did that had some obvious mind skills. |

Sadly, the Vikars hadn't much courage, also being affected by this fear wave.
You see a floating Ascendant in the chapel, one with spectral blue hair that glows, transparent skin, and a black, menacing dress. She turns to you.
"I see your the Ascendant ravaging my town..." |
